About Buckden Camping and Pods
Buckden Camping is located at Heber Farm in the heart of real Yorkshire Dales life in the pretty village of Buckden. Based in Upper Wharfedale, beside the Cote de Cray (the first major climb in a previous Tour de France and not far from the source of the river Wharf), the working farm is owned by the National Trust and has been tenanted by the Schofields since 1994. The site's camping field provides lovely meadowland pitches for tents and trailer tents. The field sits by the River Wharf, running along the Dales Way footpath behind the farmhouse. There is also a separate CS site for Caravan and Camping Club members, with hardstanding for five units In addition to camping, there are also three furnished, spacious and secure camping pods on site - The Highland, The Swaledale and The Galloway. Each is well insulated and sleeps up to five people, offering electricity, lighting and heating, as well as a kettle, small table and electric socket.
