About the site
Deep in 10 acres of pure Yorkshire countryside, this site is right on the border between the green of the Forest of Bowland and the Dales. Jump in the car and you'll be in Settle, within 10 minutes.
Campers will pitch up in a set of well drained camping fields - level and large enough to fit a total of over 150 pitches, plus their cars. If you need an electric supply, you'll be easily hooked-up here and there are a number of hardstanding pitches for tourers with outstanding views.
If you fancy a roof over your head, rather than canvas, opt for one of the fully kitted out camping pods. The small pods offer a great nights sleep for two in a cosy double bed, kitchen appliances and a private outside picnic table to enjoy the fresh air. The larger pods have the same but sleep 4 with an additional sofa bed inside.
Ideal for walkers after a long day exploring, the The Dalesbridge's walkers cabin offers comfort in warm bunk beds. The cabins are equipped with the basic kitchen appliances such as a microwave, toaster and kettle so you can have that warming cup of tea, as well as showers and toilets.
The Dalesbridge is open from 01/01 to 30/11.

We are always keeping busy, whether it is with events or new improvements….from tv shows, to wine tastings and Halloween parties, we are always looking at new things to do!
However, of course, we couldn't do it without our amazing team and of course our brilliant customers! We look forward to welcoming more of you soon, Ross

Medium Tent - Non Electric Grass PitchesFeb 2025
We are not seasoned campers, so wanted a site where we wouldn't feel as though we were wild camping. We picked here after a Google search. We pitched up at A12, close to the toilets and showers. The location of the site for ease of hiking is incredible. There are loads of good trails on the doorstep.
It is however also next to a major road and there are a lot of wagons that drive past during the night so sleep was disturbed.
I can't fault the value for money, £40 for two nights with the dog, in a safe location with toilets and showers- perfect. Check in was detailed in the email and we knew we had to go to the bar by 9pm. We made it with 15mins to spare and the barman was expecting us. Gave us a clear map and circled our pitch options then left us to it. Exactly what we wanted, very happy!
Checkout however, well, we couldn't find anyone to checkout with. The reception and shop were shut, the bar hadn't opened by the checkout time and no one answered the phone on the number given, we felt rude just leaving but we did.
During the stay the toilets and showers were available 24/7 which was very handy incase of a late/early shower or for the midnight wee, but the users throughout the day as they returned from hikes or laziness, brought this standard down. They left it dirty (floors and toilet bowl included) and the door open causing any warmth to escape. So a clean, warm shower room wasn't on the cards. They could have been tended to more often I believe, even in off peak times (February).
Overall we will absolutely be returning again as none of this has put us off and it shouldn't put you off either. It's a great non electric camping site!

Had an amazing weekend stay at this site. All the staff were so friendly and helpful (especially the 2 Marks).
The toilet and washing facilities are kept clean and tidy. We had pizza on Saturday night which was super tasty. Not one bad word to say about the whole site. Beautiful views and a great location.
Fantastic weekend. thank you and see you again soon.
