Birchbank is a small campsite on a Lake District sheep farm, located on the fells between Coniston Water and the Duddon Estuary. The site has a small stream running through it which the children love to play in and is next to the fell, with footpaths and bridleways directly from the gate making it ideal for walking and cycling.

VW-Type Campervan - Non Electric Grass PitchesOct 2021

This was our second visit to Birchbank campsite, having returned as we had enjoyed it so much the first time around. The location is absolutely breathtaking. The campsite was quiet as it was nearing the end of season so we had a choice of pitches all of which are very spacious. The owners were away but their son was available if we had any issues, which we didn't.. washing up and laundry facilities available and always kept very clean as are the toilet and shower block. We shall return in 2022.

Medium Tent - Non Electric Grass PitchesSep 2021

In the middle of nowhere, surrounded by fields, nice and quiet, good location. Loved it.
