Things to do on site and in the Scarborough area
Well placed in the heart of the delights of the Yorkshire Moors and only minutes away from the popular Scarborough, the site offers the best of both worlds.
Heading towards the open north you'll find a haven for walkers among the North Yorkshire Moors, or take a journey through time on the Moor's steam railway- when your legs begin to register their tiredness! For committed ramblers, even the Yorkshire Dales are not out of reach. Stop off at Whitby Abbey for a taste of the Gothic, whose impressive structure inspired Bram Stoker's Dracula, and feel a chill run down your spine.
Scarborough will tempt visitors with its beaches, or if the weather fails you, take the fun inside at the Scarborough Sealife Centre. If pampering is in order, the stop at the town's spa will go down well. No need to take the car, it's easy to reach by train from Arosa or there is a regular bus.
Closer to home, without leaving the park, there'ss live entertainment, a games room and a play area for children. Next, gather around the BBQ pit in summer and rustle up some burgers. Or for truly adventurous types, rural areas surrounding the park offer everything from sedate fishing and bowls to adrenaline fueled waterskiing, 4x4 off road adventures and pony trekking.
