Things to do on site and in the Scarborough area
The site is close to the pretty seaside towns of Bridlington, Scarborough, Filey and Whitby with easy access by car to all of them and some of the nicest beaches on the east coast.
Whitby is of course a must-see for the Stoker's Dracula experience at its Gothic abbey.
Scarborough on the other hand is chock full of dramatic cliffs, top notch beaches and a historic harbour. Take an open top bus tour to see it all and then get an ice cream at the seaside.
Finish your day with a sunset walk along the promenade in Bridlington or spend the day at its lovely priory church dating back to 1113.
Some of the best other attractions around are:
- Castle Howard
- Flamingo Land
- Eden Camp
- North Yorkshire Moors Railway
- The Sea Life Centre
- The Yorkshire Air Museum
- Yorkshire Lavender Fields in Terrington
