Clarion Lodge is a small campsite and maintains a family-run atmosphere against the beautiful rural backdrop of the mid Wharfe Valley and the rest of Yorkshire. The site is close to the market town of Otley for places to shop or dine, and has Chevin Forest Park for rambling opportunities just opposite. With Leeds not too far away as well, the site is ideally located for travellers making journeys along the North-South route.
About Clarion Lodge Campsite
Clarion Lodge is a small and quiet campsite close to the market town of Otley, bringing together rural aspects and a nearby historic town - with a good local pub within walking distance. Located at the centre of the rural triangle between Leeds, Harrogate and Bradford, the site accommodates eight tents with optional 10 amp electric hook up for purchase and has a further ten pitches for caravans and motorhomes with optional 10 amp electric. For glampers, three heated wigwams are open all year round - including being available for celebrating major festivals in the year, such as Christmas. Guests here will enjoy fantastic sunsets looking out over Yorkshire's rolling hills.

The site includes purpose built shower and toilet facilities, free hot water on tap, free Wi-Fi and on site washing up facilities. Dogs on leads are welcome at the site and also at the local pub located within walking distance.

Site rules and policies
We are a quiet site so do not allow loud music to be played on site.
No gazebos allowed.
Car parking is restricted to one car per pitch unless arrangements are made in advance with the site.
Ball games are also restricted if the site is full and not allowed before 9am or after 9pm.
Parents are responsible for their children and kids must be supervised at all times.
Dogs are welcome but must be kept on a lead.
No stag/hen parties are allowed or large group bookings.
We also require you to respect your fellow campers/visitors and that the noise levels are kept to a minimum after 10pm.
Things to do on site and in the Ilkley area
Within the campsite there's the chance to play ball games, enjoy a lovely picnic with views over the hills or set off on some stunning walking trails.
Heading further afield, take a short drive to Haworth approximately 25 minutes away to see the home of the Bronte Sisters, and then get a little less cultured with a fun trip to the village of Esholt, where Emmerdale used to be filmed.
The site is an ideal starting point for campers doing the Dales Way, via 78 miles of beautiful river and lakeside paths that will allow you to truly experience Yorkshire.
