About Studfold Caravan and Camping Park
Soak up the views and relax at this fantastic site in the Dales. Situated in beautiful hill country, it sits in the heart of Nidderdale near Pateley Bridge in North Yorkshire. Ideal for families, the site is surrounded by countryside with a great adventure trail onsite to enjoy too! All pitches are on flat grass, are well-drained and extra-large (measuring up to 13m x 10m) in size. There is plenty of space for touring caravans, tents and motorhomes and the site are particularly keen to welcome families. Guests can also opt for a 16 amp electric hook-up are, but appliances should be specifically designed for caravanning or camping. Four superb glamping pods are on site too, with fire pits and a picnic bench located outside. Each can sleep up to two, equipped with two bed bases (fastened together as a double), carpeted floors with space for extra guests on air beds, a kettle, a fan heater and electric sockets. All guests will also have access to the shared communal area, sheltered from the weather, it is the perfect place to chill out and meet other campers. Here you will also find a pizza oven and fire pits with grills for cooking! Dogs are also welcome but must be kept on a lead at all times and walked off the site. Don't forget to visit the award-winning nature Adventure and Fairy Trails too, designed for families, it is ideal for an afternoon of exploring. The Nidderdale Way Cafe is also onsite, serving picnic hampers to go, cakes, breakfast and more! The Walker family have run the caravan and camping park since the 1960's and pride themselves on the quiet family-orientated atmosphere. The site is also the past winner of the 'Welcome to Yorkshire' White Rose Award.
Studfold Caravan and Camping Park is open from 28/03 to 25/09 in 2024 and from 11/04 to 21/09 in 2025.

Things to do on site and in the Harrogate area
Once you are here you will find a large and varied list of things to do - or alternatively, you may just wish to sit back, relax and let the stresses of everyday life slowly disappear!
There is access to the Beck running adjacent to the campsite, which kids love but parents will need to supervise young ones playing there. The addition of an award-winning nature trail and specialist events now means that you don't need to leave the site to have some family fun!
If you do wish to venture out the Coldstone Cut is a short, ten minute drive from Pateley Bridge. This is a massive construction which visitors can freely walk through and explore. The sculpture overlooks the huge working Coldstones Quarry and offers spectacular views over the scenery of Nidderdale in the Yorkshire Dales.
The World Heritage Site of Fountains Abbey is close to Ripon, (40 minutes) one of England's smallest cities. Closer by is the action packed Lightwater Valley Theme Park (35 minutes) which is also great for those with families!
