Nestling between the Dales and the Moors, 5 miles from Thirsk, Thirkleby Hall is a spacious 30 acre caravan park set in the grounds of an old stately home. It offers short stay touring and camping, seasonal tourer pitches, caravans for hire and caravans for sale. Guests have access to a club, playground for the kids, large recreation field and a well stocked fishing lake (free to use!).
About Thirkleby Hall Caravan Park
Set in the grounds of an old stately home near Thirsk, Thirkleby Hall makes an ideal base for enjoying relaxing holidays in the beautiful North Yorkshire countryside. There are 50 grass and hardstanding pitches for tents, tourers and motorhomes, some with electric. You'll also find two self catering static caravans which can be rented for weekly holidays from Saturday to Saturday. Well behaved dogs are welcome on the park.
Camping and touring pitches, and hire caravans, are open from 1st Mar- 31st Oct.

Things to do on site and in the Thirsk area
You're nestled on the outskirts of two national parks here, meaning there are loads of places for walking, hiking and cycling. Stroll along parts of the Cleveland Way Trail and head to Sutton Bank or have a go at horse riding at Boltby Trekking Centre.
Those feeling particularly adventurous can try out gliding at the Yorkshire Gliding Club.
You'll find there's plenty to do in this area from scenic tours of some of the country's finest stately homes and gardens to a variety of theme parks to keep little ones entertained.
You're nearby Sutton Park, Newby Hall and Gardens and Castle Howard which all boast stunning gardens and picturesque scenery.
For the youngsters, Monk Park Farm is less than 10 minutes away while Lightwater Valley Theme Park is just under half an hour and has plenty of rollercoaster attractions as well as fairground rides to try out.
