Onsite you can even hire boats, with a play park and beauty treatments available too. For grabbing a tasty bite to eat, there is also a restaurant, cafe and seasonal pizza oven!

About The Riverfront York
A top location for leisurely outings on the water, enjoying delicious meals and exploring the charming city of York, just ten minutes away. The site enjoys glorious surroundings, set amongst lush greenery with stunning riverside views. For campervans, caravans, and motorhomes up to 10m there are 25 hardstanding pitches. Each pitch includes its own grassed area with a 16 amp electric hook up and water supply, allowing up to six guests per pitch. There are also a range of glamping units including a houseboat sleeping up to seven, shepherd's huts and cabins. All of the units come fully furnished with comfy beds and heating. Enjoy easy access to a variety of outdoor activities and a variety of dining options available onsite. From farm-fresh produce to delicious seafood, each ingredient is carefully selected to deliver a brilliant culinary experience. Bosun's serves a full range of menus, a-la-carte, Sunday lunch, children's menus, Steak Special from Thursday to Sunday. From the park, you can head out on scenic walks along the River Ouse. And for those who wish to explore further, the city of York awaits, just a short bus (or boat) ride away, with boats, kayaks and canoes available to hire from the site! Four-legged friends can join you for your stay too, with up to two pups permitted per pitch. Please note, open fires are not permitted but gas BBQs are allowed.
The Riverfront York is open from 01/03 to 02/11 in 2024 and from 01/03 to 31/10 in 2025.
Onsite facilities include toilets, showers, a washing up area and laundry facilities (token operated). There is also WiFi and a play area for kids. Motorboats and kayaks can be hired too, with bookable beauty treatments available.
There is The Bosun's Restaurant (open Thursday to Sunday) and Riverfront Cafe Bar (open seven days a week) where you can purchase breakfast, coffee, snacks and drinks. Bosun's Oven offers fresh wood-fired pizza seasonally on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
For more pubs, shops and local attractions, including York Races and York Designer Outlet, the centre of York is just 15 minutes away.

Stayed for two nights in our motorhome, very peaceful site right on the riverside. Weather wasn't too good but that didn't spoil our break. Lovely little village, a short walk away. Had pizzas from Bosuns oven, which were lovely. Tried to book the restaurant but we had our little dog with us so we were unable to go. Site is immaculate, showers looking quite tired but the owners are planning on renovating these soon. Once these are updated, this will be a 5 star site that'll be hard to beat. We'll definitely be back!

Toilet block could do with cleaning more frequently as it was very smelly.

Thank you for taking the time to review your visit to our site Tracy - we are pleased you had a nice time. We note your comments regarding the toilet facilities onsite. Since our owners acquired the site late last year they have commenced an extensive refurbishment programme throughout the entire site and although the toilet and shower facilities have been improved and are cleaned more regularly they are yet to be fully renovated. This work is scheduled to take place during the coming winter period in readiness for our guests in 2025. We look forward to welcoming you back again.
