About the site
Located in the glorious Yorkshire Wolds, this family run campsite is perfect for a relaxing break in the outdoors. If you want a day out, Hornsea and the coast are 25 minutes by car, ideal if you want some traditional seaside fun with your loved ones. For tents and trailer tents, there are eight grass pitches available. Each measures a spacious 10m x 8m, allowing up to six guests with 16 amp electric hook up. Campervans, caravans and motorhomes are also welcome, with 19 hardstanding pitches. These pitches measure 9m x 13m with neighbouring grassed areas, plus a 16 amp hook up so you can use all of your essential appliances. If glamping is more your style, enjoy a stay in one of the fully furnished bell tents. Sleeping up to four, each tent comes with a fully made up king size bed, along with two single futon beds. There is also full electric, with a mini fridge, water point, kettle and tea set. Outside you will find a private deck area with a picnic bench for dining. You can also opt for one of the glamping lodges. Sleeping up to four, the lodges come equipped with a made up king size bed, an L-shaped sofa bed, plus a kitchen area with a sink, hob, fridge and utensils, along with a breakfast bar with stools. You will also have a 43" LED TV, central heating and a full ensuite with a loo and shower. Outside is a decking area with seating too. BBQs are permitted, just please ensure they are raised from the ground. Do note, open fires are not permitted. Canine companions can join you for your stay too, with up to two permitted per pitch and in the glamping lodges.

Fantastic little place and honestly, the shower and toilet facilities were brilliant. So clean, modern and warm! Staff were friendly and helpful, and the site was very well maintained. Thank you, we will be back.

We absolutely loved this campsite. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The site was well laid out and pristine. As for the washroom block, I've never seen anything so amazing on a campsite before. They were beautiful, I was going to take a picture to show my friends, but I didn't manage to do that. There was a water tap next to each plot which was very handy. The marquee was closed as it was midweek and winter, but it looked lovely inside. We walked to the local pub, which was an easy walk from the campsite along a footpath. The pub was also somewhere I would recommend, but take a torch as it is quite dark before you reach the village. There is a shop in the village too. To sum up, this was a lovely campsite in a spot within walking distance to the local village and it's facilities. We can't wait to go back.

Such a warm welcome and a beautifully kept site. Top standard toilet and shower facilities, perfectly clean and the added bonus of a bar which was great for the evening. Just a shame we did not stay longer to see the live acts on offer.

Great for a family day out, The Deep is just 25 minutes away. The giant aquarium is home to a range of marine life, from sharks and rays to penguins and turtles!
If you want to spend the day at the seaside, Hornsea is within a 25 minute drive too. The expansive sandy beach offers a great spot for swimming and sun bathing, with plenty of amazing fish and chip shops too.
The Streetlife Museum (25 minutes) offers a unique, immersive experience for a day out. Be transported back to the 1940s with a replica street offering shops and traditional modes of transport for you to enjoy.
