About Cherry Burton Leisure Park
Located in the glorious Yorkshire Wolds, this family run campsite is perfect for a relaxing break in the outdoors. If you want a day out, Hornsea and the coast are 25 minutes by car, ideal if you want some traditional seaside fun with your loved ones. For tents and trailer tents, there are eight grass pitches available. Each measures a spacious 10m x 8m, allowing up to six guests with 16 amp electric hook up. Campervans, caravans and motorhomes are also welcome, with 19 hardstanding pitches. These pitches measure 9m x 13m with neighbouring grassed areas, plus a 16 amp hook up so you can use all of your essential appliances. If glamping is more your style, enjoy a stay in one of the fully furnished bell tents. Sleeping up to four, each tent comes with a fully made up king size bed, along with two single futon beds. There is also full electric, with a mini fridge, water point, kettle and tea set. Outside you will find a private deck area with a picnic bench for dining. You can also opt for one of the glamping lodges. Sleeping up to four, the lodges come equipped with a made up king size bed, an L-shaped sofa bed, plus a kitchen area with a sink, hob, fridge and utensils, along with a breakfast bar with stools. You will also have a 43" LED TV, central heating and a full ensuite with a loo and shower. Outside is a decking area with seating too. BBQs are permitted, just please ensure they are raised from the ground. Do note, open fires are not permitted. Canine companions can join you for your stay too, with up to two permitted per pitch and in the glamping lodges.
Cherry Burton Leisure Park is open all year round.
Site facilities include a toilet and shower block with seven modern washrooms, along with a disabled ensuite bathroom.
A Costcutter is also within a 15 minute walk for grabbing any essentials, along with the Bay Horse pub.

Such a warm welcome and a beautifully kept site. Top standard toilet and shower facilities, perfectly clean and the added bonus of a bar which was great for the evening. Just a shame we did not stay longer to see the live acts on offer.

First time staying here, and liked it so much we decided to site our caravan on a seasonal pitch.

The site has just changed hands and so it's difficult to judge the aims of the new owners. The new wardens (Tony and his wife) had just arrived. They were putting in a lot of effort to tidy things up and hopefully will be attempting to give a better first impression than the one we faced. The site is spacious and there are plenty of pitches. The toilet and shower block was much better than we would have thought. Not quite sure about the idea of a bar and restaurant in the big marquee. We prefer a peaceful site but it may suit others who want on site catering.

Things to do on site and in the Beverley area
Great for a family day out, The Deep is just 25 minutes away. The giant aquarium is home to a range of marine life, from sharks and rays to penguins and turtles!
If you want to spend the day at the seaside, Hornsea is within a 25 minute drive too. The expansive sandy beach offers a great spot for swimming and sun bathing, with plenty of amazing fish and chip shops too.
The Streetlife Museum (25 minutes) offers a unique, immersive experience for a day out. Be transported back to the 1940s with a replica street offering shops and traditional modes of transport for you to enjoy.
