Family and dog friendly camping and touring site, Pomeroy Caravan Park is in the ideal place for those who love to hike or cycle. There are non electric and electric grass pitches for tents, as well as fully serviced grass and hardstanding pitches for tourers. A peaceful stay in the Peak District on a working dairy farm with cows and goats, the site even produces its own artisan ice cream with a range of flavours for the whole family.

Amazing campsite right on the High Peak and Tissington Trail! Brilliant for walks and dog friendly too. Facilities were amazing, very clean showers and toilets and the pitches were brilliant. Slight slope on some pitches but nothing drastic. Also amazing ice creams! This is our second time here and we will definitely be back!

We stayed on one of the non electric pitches and it was amazing, the views were gorgeous and was just a nice getaway in general. The facilities were very clean and had everything you needed and even had an on-site mini shop. Would 100% stay again, it was absolutely lovely as well as so many things to do around the campsite to have a look around.

We had such a lovely time staying at Pomeroy, very organised and the facilities were so clean. For a couple who haven’t camped before we thought we would ease ourselves in with a camper van and this site was the perfect place to stop! Will definitely be back and fully recommend x

Lovely campsite that has a little shop that sells their own ice cream which is delicious! They have their own milk and my husband says it's the best he's ever tasted! Friendly staff. Good location, easy to find. Lovely views and walks from the site. There are goats that children can pet and feed. I was impressed with the dog area, it was well kept, spacious and clean from any dog mess. Showers and toilets were nice and clean. The timer on the shower could have been a bit longer rather than constantly having to press for the water, that's just me being picky.

Great site, very peaceful. The shower block etc is brilliant, clean and well maintained. Also can have fresh farm milk from the machine available and flavour syrup if you want 24/7. Well worth staying at, can't wait to get back there again. They sell wonderful ice cream too. Highly recommended. A+++++++++++++

Really nice camping site, clean, good facilities, homemade ice cream, milk machine, and lot of nature. Can't wait to come back, highly recommend. Shout out to the front desk lady, she knows how to treat a customer, thanks for the hospitality.

This place started out great and stayed great. There is a milk dispensing machine on site with fresh chilled milk. Either bring your own bottle or get one from the machine. Bring lots of pound coins too for laundry and milk! They have awesome showers that are hot in the morning, but not too hot at night or as multiple people are showering but alas, not a problem. They have a laundry and dish washing room with hot water and multiple sinks. Perfect location for the trail. Bike or hike, it's great. Staff are wonderful and the goats that wander around are pretty friendly. About 10 minutes from Morrison's and about 13 minutes to town. Great spring running in town. Bring a water carrier and fill it up. The water is beautiful. In the words of Arnie, "I'll be back"

It cost 17.50-25ÂŁ in a taxi depending on how many people there were, to the town centre. They were 9 of us in a group, so it was 25ÂŁ for a minibus. Don't buy milk from the shop, they sell fresh milk on site. The showers and toilets were very clean. Would definitely go back.
