About the site
Located across ten acres of picturesque North Yorkshire countryside and just a five minute drive to the nearest beach, this site is perfect for those looking to enjoy a hassle-free breakaway. With some great nearby footpaths, a fantastic selection of onsite facilities and even a dog walking area for your pup, your stay is sure to be relaxing. The site has a selection of grass tent pitches with optional electric. The small pitches are suitable for tents up to 4.5m x 2m in size while the large pitches are 6m x 10m so can accommodate larger tents. Car parking is available at these pitches. There are also hardstanding and gravel pitches with optional electric. These measure 5m x 10m and are suitable for touring caravans, motorhomes and campervans. For all of the pitches, 16 amp electric is available and is metered. On arrival, guests can purchase top-up cards to pay for this. If you're after a little more luxury, there are two types of camping pods available. The standard camping pod sleeps up to two guests while the family camping pod sleeps up to four. Inside is an electric heater and electric sockets. Please make sure you bring everything you would need for camping aside from the tent. There are also 81 holiday homes onsite. From the children's play area to the communal BBQ and picnic area and dog walking park, there is so much to keep guests entertained. There is also an onsite cafe and bar which is open daily serving up refreshing pints and a selection of food from breakfasts to pizzas. If you're looking to bring the pup along, dogs are permitted onsite apart from in the camping pods. For dinner al fresco, BBQs are permitted please just make sure they are raised off the ground. Open fires are not allowed.
Touring and pods are available from February 3rd to December 31st. Small grass pitches are available from 11th April, while the large grass pitches are available from 28th March. Non electric pitches are open for July and August.

If you're hoping to explore the seaside, you can easily drive over to Robin Hood's Bay (5 minutes) or Scarborough (30 minutes). Whitby is also just a ten minute drive away, offering a lovely mix of seaside attractions, charming shops, and the beautiful Whitby Abbey.
If you're bringing the little ones along, head to Pannett Park (10 minutes) for a run around or explore the spooky Dracula Experience (10 minutes).
