Early arrivals and late departures may be available at request.
We are high on the beautiful North Yorkshire Moors approx 900 feet above sea level and as such we can catch the colder weather and wind. If you are visiting in winter months please check we do not have snow before you set off.
We recommended bringing hard ground rock pegs for pitching.
We are a working dairy farm so please make sure all children are supervised, no person is allowed to enter the farm area or buildings.
Sorry, no campfires.
Things to do on site and in the Pickering area
Guests can pop into the milking parlour during the afternoon's milking and watch the process, asking questions and getting a taste for life on a farm.
Heartbeat fans should head straight to Goathland, which is an easy 10 minute drive away and a bit further north is the coastline at Whitby, with all its seaside fun.
To the south, you can get up some speed on mountain bike routes in Dalby Forest and then drop into Pickering to replace some of those calories at a delicious local chocolate shop.
