Had an amazing stay here last weekend with friends. Great site, lovely home cooked food in the pub and very attentive bar staff. Met the owner, Nigel, who was very approachable and friendly. He invited us to a private party on the Saturday evening which was a lot of fun. Only thing to point out is I thought the size of the single shower room could have accommodated an extra shower. Would definitely go back.

The first disappointment was that the pitches are not allocated, it's first come first served, so we were left with the 2 worst pitches EHU on very sloped, muddy ground due to the very wet weather on the run up to the weekend. When we arrived, we were advised by a couple leaving in a campervan to access the site from the lane running up the side of the pub so as to enter the field from the top, as it was too muddy to tow a caravan up the very muddy slope accessed from the car park. There are only 2 toilets and 1 shower available, if there had been a rally on that would not have been nearly enough. There was also a lot of noise from the plant hire place next to the site on the Friday and started again at 8am on the Saturday morning. The pub itself was very nice and the food was lovely. Hook Norton village is beautiful and the brewery is well worth a visit although we were unable to get on a tour but the shop, bar and a visit to see the shore horses was worth the trip and it's walkable from the site. Due to unforeseen circumstances on the day of departure, the staff were very understanding and allowed us to leave the site much later than the noon departure time, it was the last weekend before it closed so possibly nobody else was booked on.

Arrived to be told just to choose an electric pitch but no hook up stands available, just a cable attached to some lights which we were told to use. Sloping pitch which we weren't told about. Toilets were disgusting, the one and only shower was blocked! We were also charged £10 for our two dogs for one night! The most I've ever been charged. We ate at the pub, I can't fault the food so that was a plus. All in all, the site and garden were very scruffy and I feel a tidy up is needed.

A fabulous site for a pub camp. The pub restaurant food is amazing and the staff are very accommodating. The facilities for campers are kept clean.

Sorry for a bad review. Booked an electric hook up at very short on a space. They should have a walk around as there wasn't much room for us as it was a free for all, without any thought of other people coming. No code given for showers. I'd say it could be a fire hazard as there was no room to move around. Was our first time using our new motor home and was disappointed ☹️ I really think some kind of safety checks should be done. Pub looked nice but didn't use it. Definitely not be returning. I know it's a basic campsite but still needs to be safe. Did email the site to say I was disappointed but no response.

Nice site in the heart of the Cotswolds. Not very level camping field. Couldn't find wash up facilities. Otherwise, pub was excellent.

The only minor issue we had is there a waste processing and skip hire business neighbouring the site. They seem to start work at 6:00am so there is, inevitably, some noise. The pub itself is lovely with very friendly staff. The location makes it an ideal base for touring the Cotswolds and Stratford on Avon is less than 40 mins.

Had a great weekend in a camper. Powered pitch on a field, nice and peaceful. Great food in the pub with nice beers and super friendly staff. Will be returning soon. One toilet for the campsite could do with a makeover but was clean. Use of the pub facilities available, not sure if there are shower facilities as I didn't spot them. One criticism is that the water standpipe being in the field is muddy and a little slippery, a simple soak away dug under the tap and filled with gravel would sort this so your shoes don't get filthy. Not a huge amount to do in the area but the brewery tour at Hook Norton Brewery is well worth doing and is great value for money, with a tasting session at the end. It's a 30 min walk to get there.

Stopped here on our way to Shropshire to break up the journey and so glad we did. Friendly, welcoming staff and a lovely cosy pub with a fire that was roaring. We had a restaurant meal, which was first class, followed by breakfast the following morning before setting off on our travels. Hot showers and all facilities for waste and water on site. Will definitely be back.

Although not advertised, the hosts provide 24 hour toilets and a shower room. Brilliant. The Sunday lunch was well presented and tasted really good. Only disappointment was that they close at 8pm on a Sunday, but not to worry, we sat in the van and finished off the day. All in all, you cannot complain at the price - £18 for EHU, marvellous.

Stayed 1 night en-route to Dorset. Relaxed campsite some EHU available. Had a meal in the pub, which was lovely, however there was a lot of flies in the restaurant, which spoilt it a little. Staff were lovely, basic toilet and washroom but the view was nice. I would stay again for a stopover night.

Great site, we thought the cost of camping was very reasonable too. We went to the Morton Show, so found this site was a great location for visiting Morton In Marsh and other surrounding areas in the beautiful Cotswolds.
Great site for a one night stay - lovely pub and food excellent

We enjoyed our stay and the location was great for us on our way down the uk, we wanted to visit diddly squat farm and Cotswolds wildlife park both within 40mins. Really nice food in the pub. The shower was nice and hot and good pressure, just need to add a squeegee so the floor isn't too wet to get dressed afterwards (but that could be just people that used the shower prior to me) and maybe good scrub of the floor.
Great pub meal

The toilet facilities at this site are insufficient for the amount of campers. The site was full and only two toilets were open this morning

Facilities limited when pub not open. 2 toilets 1 shower. Only went in the pub to check in, staff were more than friendly. A little pricey, especially when facilities are limited however, great location. Quite a bit of noise on site but after the days excursions, we and the dog slept through it all. I'd recommend as a good base if you are not too concerned about waiting for a toilet or shower.

Very good value for money, it's just a shame I was woken 2 nights in a row by people shouting at each other. Could do with marking the plots out rather than a free for all and a feeling of just cramming as many people as you can in.

Unfortunately, we got woken up early hours, around 2:50 am on the Monday morning, as a man was shouting for a good 10 mins, not sure where abouts on the campsite, but likely a camper 😣 Hope the children staying over were not frightened by his loud shouting. Was even asked to stop shouting, especially due to children being woken up and frightened.

Lovely pub, excellent food, very basic loo and shower. Excellent for a stop over and easy to get to in a 7.5 m Moho. Is definitely on our stop over list on our travels past Birmingham.
