About the site

The park is perfect for the quiet country break - but only a 5 minute bike ride or 15 minute walk away is the busy Historical town of Atherstone with its excellent amenities. It's very popular for the NEC's events too, with the Caravan Camping and Motorhome Show and Cruft's about a 20 minute drive away, depending on traffic. Pitches are set in 30 acres of mature grounds, secluded down a lovely long entrance drive with large electric entrance gates. Why not treat yourself to a touring caravan super pitch with a large hardstanding bay, electric, water tap and drainage and see this part of the country in style. Seasonal pitches are also available for anyone looking to stay longer. Or, for those without a tourer, the perfect glam option is a luxurious and glamping pod which sleeps 2. These are fully ensuite with a superb fitted kitchen and a large veranda. There's also a spacious family glamping pod with an ensuite, double bed and double sofa bed - plus its own fully fitted kitchen.

Atherstone is home to lots of shops, yummy cafes, a great swimming pool, gym, gift shops, pubs and some of Warwickshire's tastiest fish and chips. You can have Chinese food, delicious Indian meals and fresh local flavours from the weekly market set in the old market square. A highlight of the market is the award winning butcher - Atherstone bangers, give them a try!

Ratcliffe Culey village pub is a must for its home cooked food done to perfection. Great steaks! Only 10 minutes walk away or a three minute bike ride. In fact, there are lovely country walks and bike rides in lots of directions, so you can burn off the tasty pub grub.

The park has so much to offer locally - the famous Twycross Zoo, ancient Bosworth Battlefield, Bosworth Water Park and the thrilling rides at Drayton Manor Park.

Tamworth SnowDome is a must for those who like skiing, swimming and ice skating - and only a 15 minute drive away. Visit Tamworth Castle, another great historical building with events taking place during the year.

Bike rides from the park to Market Bosworth really are lovely, passing through the pretty village of Shenton where the park's local farmer sells mouthwatering cured meats. There's an antique shop and tea room with a sweet little steam train station.

You'll be able to take the bikes on the steam train and the journey will take you to Market Bosworth or Shackerstone Station to find another lovely tea room. The train can also bring you back and in the festive period it includes a chance to meet Santa on board - a huge hit with the little ones.
