About Washington Caravan and Camping Park
The park is family run and well established, ideal for walkers and hikers in the national park and anyone looking for an outdoorsy break with family. It sits along the northern edge of the central section of the Downs - great for accessing the South Downs Way. Within the main field you'll find a good number of electric hardstandings for tourers, plus roughly double the number of tent pitches on grass. For those in search of the very best view across the Downs, there are electric terrace pitches on grass. The main field also has luxurious glamping tents for those wanting a ready to go stay in a comfortable bed. With five acres of space, the Paddocks Field is a hit with family, school and educational and corporate groups. It has a large fire pit for evening gatherings available and an attractive pond. This part of the site also offers some fully serviced pitches which are perfect for touring all year round and offer water, electric and drainage. Book a relaxing and glam break in one of the bell tents, which each sleep up to four on comfy beds. Inside these are kitted out with electric and are light and airy. They include all the essentials for fixing a meal, a kettle and supplies for hot drinks, plus a fire pit outside perfect for stargazing. Pets welcome.
