Treacle Valley Campsite is a spectacular spot surrounded by green fields and permitted access woodland as far as you can see. This family run site is well established and equipped with everything you need for a classic camping experience. Pitch up your tent and admire the unbroken views stretching all the way to Dartmoor. It's also only a short hop to Torbay with its pretty beaches, hidden coves and the great South West Coastal Path.

Get back in touch with nature, feel the grass under your feet, hear the sound of birdsong and admire the sunset sky at this family run and friendly site. Everyone has the chance to forget the frantic pace of the modern world and unwind here, with the simple pleasures of open space, dining al fresco and the light of a campfire to reconnect with the great outdoors. Families, couples, small groups and lone adventurers are all welcome and the site has all you need to host your true escape. Grass pitches are suitable for tents ony however small campervans are allowed onsite by appointment only. The site has the best of both worlds, you are far enough from the hustle to be totally immersed in a natural habitat but also close enough to over 25 beaches and all the best visitor attractions that South Devon has to offer. Dogs are welcome onsite but must be kept on a lead and under control as the site is set within a working farm with livestock.

Site rules and policies
We request campers arrive before 9pm but we understand delays are possible so we do not close the gates. No-one is turned away! Please set up quietly and register at the reception as soon as possible or the next morning.
We do not allow loud music at any time. (If the music could bother other campers it is too loud).
We allow campfires but they must be off the grass in our freely available fire pits or appropriate containers
Dogs must be kept on leads always.

Things to do on site and in the Torquay area
The site has a small play park for children and the freedom of open space. There is a stream passing through the site and permitted access woodland is only a short walk away.
The epic South West Coastal path connects a variety of stunning beaches and coves and passes from long sections of wild untouched coastline to the cosmopolitan English Riviera and beyond to wild secluded beaches.
It is worth mentioning that the waters of Torbay are famously calm and can be up to two degrees warmer than elsewhere in Devon or Cornwall. Kayak/paddle board hire is available on most beaches in the area.
