Run and cared for by a team of local volunteers, the family- and dog-friendly Ewes Water Caravan and Camping Park is ideally located just north of the England/Scotland border. There are 25 pitches, all with electric hook ups available, and are suitable for campers and tourers alike. Relax onsite and listen to the sound of the Ewes Water River as you spot visiting wildlife, or venture out and discover the beautiful surrounding area.

Lovely site, peaceful, scenic surroundings, easy access from main road, facilities were spotless and modern-looking. We stayed on a hard-standing pitch and were very comfortable for the night.

Lovely clean little campsite. Stayed for 2 nights with our 2 children and 2 dogs. Showers and toilet block is very clean and well looked after. Dog bags are even provided which is an excellent touch! Some lovely walks and nature reserve nearby. Would highly recommend, great value for money. Will definitely return!

Last-minute weekend away, and this was an unexpected gem. Fantastic volunteer-run site on the local rugby ground. Easy walk into Langham, nice clean facilities and a relaxed feel. Will definitely visit again.

Arrived Saturday, pitching instructions and detail received ahead of time so we could crack on and get set up. Bar on site, which was open on our second day, which was a lovely treat. Next to the rugby fields meant all kids were playing and happy. Electric hook up and water all available and the toilet block was clean and all facilities you need. Walk to toilet block was a couple of minutes away past the rugby field, but not an issue for that at all. We also used local takeaway Maanos on our second evening, which delivered to the campsite no problem too. Playground and lovely walk down the river only a couple of minutes down the road too. Couldn't recommend a little stay here more. A lovely find.

We used this site as a stop over on our way to the Highlands (travelling from the Midlands). We checked in online which, given we arrived pretty late due to traffic, was really useful and still managed to get a hook-up and pitch. Facilities were clean and of a high standard and there was a short walk for the dog before we headed off on the next leg of our journey. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Very easy to find off main A7 with good access for a motorhome. Excellent value for money with electric hook up, water availability and toilet dump easily accessible. Michael, the site warden was friendly and helpful. He told us about the area and interesting places close by. Showers were powerful, hot and very clean. We will be using this site again when we are next in Scotland.

Located in the borders of beautiful Scotland. Ewes Water Caravan & Camping Park is based within the Rugby Club. The grass pitches are well maintained by Michael. The new facilities are kept clean and fresh by a lovely young lady. Everyone is friendly and welcoming. Thank you for yet another lovely stay even though the weather was not as friendly this time.

Beautiful location. Good facilities. Downside was groups of caravans arriving together, making too much noise and playing music the whole time. No consideration for those who enjoy the sounds of nature and people trying to talk. Won't be back.

Stopped here overnight on our way back home from Skye back to Yorkshire. What a little gem. Great location, short walk in to Langholm with everything you could need - shops, pubs and restaurants etc. Facilities top notch and very clean onsite. Will definitely be recommending to friends.

Great wee site, 24 stances, new showers/toilets. So different from the usual big sites with lots of statics, swimming pools, restaurants and bars. This is our preferred site. Lots of walks from the site around the Buccleuch estate (flat) and up the hill towards the monument (steep). The warden comes and goes, very friendly and helpful. A rugby pitch is different to most sites - memorable.

We were looking for a stop part way down the A7 and found this. Good site, great clean facilities. Communication was good and clear. It is just off the A7 so there was a little traffic noise during the night but not much. Would stay again.

Stayed for one night on our way up to the highlands. What a lovely place, nice village with friendly pub. Site was nice and flat with good sized pitch showers and toilets were clean and very well kept, as was the washing up area. We will definitely be back next year.

Wonderful wee site in Rugby club grounds. Well maintained with a clean and tidy toilet and shower block. Short walk into village of Langholm. Park attendant very friendly and informative.
