Run and cared for by a team of local volunteers, the family- and dog-friendly Ewes Water Caravan and Camping Park is ideally located just north of the England/Scotland border. There are 25 pitches, all with electric hook ups available, and are suitable for campers and tourers alike. Relax onsite and listen to the sound of the Ewes Water River as you spot visiting wildlife, or venture out and discover the beautiful surrounding area.

Lovely site, well-kept and a short walk into Longholm. Only stayed one night, and will be back again.

Just right for a night. Very quiet and a nice walk from Langholm, which is a very pretty little town. Look out for the beautiful heron on the river bank. She hangs around with the ducks.

Loved our two nights here. Totally relaxing. Perfect for basics and everyone we met were so friendly. Don’t want to say too much or the secret place will be out. Thanks to Michael for all the info. Hopefully see you again soon

Perfect wee site. My 🐶 loved it. Well worth a few nights. A short stroll to Langholm, which has everything you need. Very peaceful and well maintained. Will definitely go again 👍👍

What a cracking little site. We loved our stay here and will definitely be back. It's a perfect base to explore the surrounding area. The volunteer on site was very friendly and helpful. I wish there were more sites around the country just like this one.

Well organised communication before my stay. Michael was friendly when greeting me. Pitches are beautifully maintained and the views are gorgeous. Nice walk into town through paths and fields. Shower block is a little basic, but I believe there are plans to upgrade.

Great position and value for money. Showers a bit small but adequate. Enjoyed stay so much, we stayed again on our way back northwards and attended a concert at the Buccleuch Centre in Langholm. Pretty town and lovely walks along riverside. Will be back.

We loved our stay, but we don't agree with dogs being able to be off leads on the site. We had a few near misses with dogs running over to our dogs, who were on leads at all times next to our campervan. Fine on the open fields but not on site, it was at times very stressful trying stop dogs hurtling to ours. It wouldn't be an issue if people had their dogs under control and, to be fair, some did but most didn't. Unfortunately it would put us off staying again which is a shame as it's perfect place.

Camp positioned in a lovely location with a quick walk to park and stream. Also a short walk into village where there are several eating places. Was made very welcome by campsite caretaker.
