Beautiful site in a great location to visit Castle Howard. The staff were friendly and it was lovely to take a walk around the lake. There were new toilets and showers which were lovely and clean.

Lovely peaceful site next to Castle Howard Lake which you can walk along. 20 minute walk to Castle Howard itself. Would recommend.

This was our first outing with our new caravan so we just stayed one night. If the weather had been better we would have booked another night as we didn't want to come home. The toilets and showers were clean and the location perfect

Lovely site in a beautiful part of the world. You definitely need transport but there is a dog friendly taxi service available. The surrounding countryside is truly beautiful. A visit to Castle Howard is a must. The nearby villages are worth a try, the dog friendly Worsley Arms at Hovingham is our favourite. Nearby Malton has everything you need and all you would expect from a 'foodie' town. Too many nice pubs and cafes to list! If there was a decent bus service to/from Malton this could be one of the best sites we have visited.
