Wold Meadow is an adult only glamping site just 15 minutes from the Yorkshire coast. Choose from the Stargazer bell tent or one of five yurts that each sleep two people and have individual private hot tubs, the height of luxury. Explore the beautiful surrounding countryside and switch off at this peaceful retreat. The site is also perfectly located to tackle the Wolds Way in small chunks, the closest point three miles away from your yurt.

Lovely stay, a super relaxed and quiet site. Hot tub was fantastic. Local pub serves good food only 5 minutes walk away. Would definitely go back.

Lovely area, lovely site, very friendly and caring owners. A very restful 4 nights spent in the Yorkshire Wold. The site is well kept and owners work hard to ensure all your needs are met. The owners are friendly and always happy to help if you have any issues. The yurts are comfortable, with a beautiful view of the Yorkshire countryside. A great base to explore the Yorkshire Wolds, and then a peaceful haven at the end to rest in the hot tub. Lighting the log burning stove and getting it to the right temperature is all part of the adventure! We would not hesitate to recommend the site to others and would encourage you to experience it for yourself.

Absolutely stunning location, tucked away. Wold Newton village literally has a duck pond and 1 pub. The site is so well set out. We stayed in the gorgeous star gazer bell tent, every detail had been thought of - welcome gifts of ice cold prosecco, chocolate and crisps in the electric ice box. Even little hot water bottles in case you're tootsies get cold. Have your own private bathroom, which was spotless, and a separate cooking hut, also really well appointed. This is a 5 star place, if they have availability get yourself booked in π It's also adults only (dogs allowed π)

Had a great stay, the location of the site was amazing, so peaceful! The continental breakfast was yummy and it was lovely sitting outside eating breakfast watching the cows. Lots to do near by or relax on sit in the hot tub!

We were greeted with a friendly smile on arrival, the bell tent was absolutely stunning and the views were breathtaking. The site is extremely equipped with all your cooking needs. The bell tent itself was perfect, cosy and very clean. We spent every night enjoying the night sky in the hot tub! The idea of your own toilet and shower was a first for us when glamping and thought it was a great idea! I wish we could have stayed longer. We will definitely return! Thanks you so much for such a lovely weekend, everything was perfect. As hosts you're both incredibly special and friendly π It's a birthday I will sure not forget! xx

First time glamping and I can definitely say I'll be back! The peace and quiet is pure bliss with amazing views! The only thing I'd have to say if I'm being really picky is that there's not much wood provided to say it has to heat the hot tub and fire pit if staying for more than a single night, but like I said I'm being picky and will bring extra wood next time.

With regards to your point about the wood provided, we do give you 2 full bags of logs together with fire lighters and kindling which is sufficient for use on your 1st night. We do not provide wood for your full stay as we do not know how much you may use but you can buy extra or bring it with you. Hopefully we'll see you again in the future Graham and Jayne

I would 100% recommend staying at Wold Meadow glamping. Jayne and Graham were so welcoming. The site is amazing! It's so peaceful and calming, we didn't want to leave. We are so thankful that we could stay at such short notice. All the details really made a difference, they really thought about everything you may need; heater, umbrellas, cutlery etc. The facilities were immaculate and very modern. The view was beautiful and the wood fire hot tub was lovely. We will definitely be returning and we can't stop raving about it!

I booked this as a romantic getaway for me and my partner and the host lived up to the romance criteria and added roses and spread petals for us, very sweet. The addition of Prosecco and the breakfast was well worth it! The Yurts are beautifully decorated and the views with the cows so sweet! Could not recommend enough, even though it rained most of the time we were there, the wood fire hot bath still heated really well and we still got in it π was lovely!

What a lovely site, the private bathrooms were superb. Hosts Jayne & Graham were friendly and helpful. Beautiful yurts equipped with everything you need, and a kitchen area near the shower block was well equipped. Peace and tranquillity, can't wait to go back

My fiancΓ© and I have just returned from two nights at the Wold Meadow Yurts. We've had the best time!! We had a very friendly welcome when we arrived and shown around all the facilities. The location was perfect for us and our dog, we spent the two days walking the local coastlines and exploring the local areas. The site has the most fantastic views for relaxing in the hot tub after a long days walking. The owners have really thought of everything, the Yurt was equipped with everything we could have needed. The one and only downside, and I'm not sure if this was down to the time of year or the changing weather, but there were a lot of flies. We had been provided with fly spray in the Yurt but they just kept coming! We weren't too put off by it and guess it comes with the camping/glamping holidaying. We really can't wait to return and wish we had been able to stay for longer.

Fantastic place to relax, Jane and Graham are very friendly. The bathroom and yurt are very clean and you have everything you need...definitely glamorous camping. Love the layout of the yurts, every yurt has their own little private sitting area.

We had a brilliant 2 night stay in the stargazing bell tent. Jayne and Graham are very welcoming, the site is in perfect location with lovely view and they are decorated beautifully. We had a few hiccups with the tent, but this was due to the strong winds and was quickly sorted out by Graham. We will be booking for the yurts next.

Loved all of it, great facilities with the wood burning hot tub, private bathroom, kitchen and your own space with sun loungers and table and chairs. Customer service was great, spoke to Jayne before our trip regarding admin and when we got there Graham arranged to meet us and show us round, very helpful and friendly, told us we could contact him anytime if we had any issues, even set up our fire ready to light for the hot tub and how best to keep it running! The hot tub does take a while to heat up but once it does it stays hot for hours! Stargazing Belle Tent was the most private accommodation as it was further away from the yurts and I recommend it highly, would definitely visit again!

This place is a hidden gem, the yurt was spotless and had everything you could possibly need, they really have though of everything! The yurts are cosy and beautifully decorated. They had even put a birthday banner up in the yurt for our arrival, which I must say was very thoughtful. On the first night of our stay, we had asked for the hot tub to be heated and ready and it was. We had the site to ourselves on the first evening and they allowed us to let our dog off his lead and run freely, which was brilliant for him. The facilities are fantastic, having your own shower room is a massive bonus, not too far from the yurt so very convenient. We were greeted by Michael and he was really helpful and his knowledge of the local area was brilliant, he suggested a visit to Filey beach as it's dog friendly. We also used the cooking area during our stay, again they have thought of everything, pots, pans, oven and all the utensils you could possibly need, they even provided, salt, pepper, and cooking oil. We loved every second of our stay. It's peaceful and quiet with stunning views, if you're looking for a relaxing break, this is the place for you. We will definitely be returning in the future. We stayed in one of the yurts for 2 nights. The yurt was beautifully decorated, the log burner and the fairy lights made it very cosy in the evening. Overall, the yurt and the site were very clean and had wonderful facilities. It's a perfect location for a relaxing and peaceful break in the countryside. The hot tub was also great, as you could sit and soak whilst watching great countryside views. The owners were also very attentive and welcoming. We highly recommend this site for anyone who needs a bit of peace and quiet.

Absolutely amazing! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Wold Meadow. The couple that own the site were very helpful and welcoming. The Yurt was absolutely spotless and very cosy, we loved the fact that this is an adults-only and dog-friendly site. The views from the site are beautiful too. Would highly recommend staying here!

Fabulous, luxurious tent with lovely complimentary gifts and everything you need. A very peaceful location close to other villages and the coast. Great for walkers and dog lovers. Very friendly and helpful owners who are on hand via text should you need them. The hot tub is a great addition overlooking the Wolds.

The owners let us stay here for 1 night as it was the last weekend of the season, we wish we could have stayed for longer. Everything about the stay was amazing. The location was quiet and the views were beautiful. Jayne met us on arrival and explained how everything worked. She had even put on a little heater so the yurt was nice and warm for us. We did need to light the log burner later on in the evening, which was so cosy and warm. We loved the wood fuelled hot tub. In the colder months I would recommend getting extra wood as it did cool down quicker than it would in Summer. The fluffy robes came in handy for sure, I'd recommend bringing flip flops to go to and from the hot tub. Everything about the yurt was perfect. The bed was comfy and warm, we had everything we needed. We loved the little hamper with prosecco and treats, such a kind touch. I'd bring along a torch for trips to the toilet, we didn't think of that when we were packing. The private bathroom was a lovely touch, and the heated towel rail made sure the room was nice and warm. We would 100% recommend Wold Meadow Yurts.

Great for a quiet getaway! Spotlessly clean, luxury yurts with great attention for detail. Inside you'll find ample space, a king size bed and a log burner, a kettle, toaster and all the crockery/ cutlery you'll ever need! There is full electrics and also an electric cool box. There is an open kitchen if you require more cooking facilities. Outside a private patio area with fire pit and BBQ, not forgetting the wood burning hot tub! You get a key to your personal bathroom for the duration of your stay. The owners have thought of everything to make your stay as comfortable as possible including a beautiful hamper of homemade goodies made in York and a bottle of Prosecco on arrival! So glad we booked! Thank you Graham and Jayne, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

This was the first stay in a yurt for my wife and I, and it was first class. The location was secluded with great views over the beautiful valley. The site was clean, tidy and very well maintained, and was situated so that several East Coast attractions could be easily accessed. The facilities are all provided with your own solid fuel hot tub, patio, bbq, outdoor or indoor dining areas, and log burner to add to the fab atmosphere. The bed was big and extremely comfortable, and we couldn't think of anything that could have been done to make the stay any better. A small shared kitchen unit was nearby, and again had everything we needed to prep food, and cook the odd item on the hob. We were greeted by Graham the owner upon arrival, and he was very warm and welcoming. One thing you need to know is that the hot tub will need a good fire stoking in the little boiler unit at the back, and will take the best part of a couple of hours from cold. Graham was on hand to advise about the most efficient way to do this so had no problems. We really enjoyed the stay and found it to be a complete escape. Many thanks

I would 1000% recommend this place to anyone! It was absolutely perfect. Just what I've been searching for, for a long time. I found this little beautiful gem of a place and thought there's no way they will have any availability left for 2 days time. Low and behold, there was! I couldn't believe it and I booked it there and then, 2 days before we were due to go! I've always looked for a place to stay with a hot tub but always found them to be too expensive for a couple of nights. This however, was incredibly reasonably priced, I couldn't not book it! On arrival we were greeted and shown around by Jayne (one of the owners), she was so lovely and friendly and nothing was ever too much trouble for either her or her partner Graham. It is the most peaceful and tranquil place - exactly what we wanted and needed. We both have hectic and very full on jobs and needed somewhere to go to just totally relax and unwind and this is exactly what we were able to do here. From having breakfast outside and taking in the beautiful views, evening drinks outside, and the complementary Prosecco in the amazing log burning hot tub - again feeling completely relaxed and admiring the view. Being adult only accommodation was also an added bonus for us. The yurts themselves are stunning and furnished perfectly, including a little log fire! We absolutely loved everything about them. The bathroom building wasn't too far away from the yurts and we loved that we had our own bathroom that wasn't shared. We are regular campers, so are used to shared bathroom facilities, but we loved this idea of having a private bathroom! Everything was perfect, I literally cannot fault a thing. A massive thank you to Jayne and Graham and a huge well done for the wonderful site you have created. Hopefully we will be back soon - if not, next year! We absolutely loved our stay and didn't want to leave!
