The name Trwyn yr Wylfa Camping Site means 'watching point' - and the site is exactly what the name suggests! Set on ten acres of land surrounded by glorious sea and mountain views, it is a stunning spot for a relaxing getaway. Campers and tourers are welcome on grass and hardstanding pitches with the option of electric. Just a 15 minute walk from the beach and within Snowdonia National Park, it's the perfect base for exploring North Wales.

Medium Tent - Non Electric Grass PitchesJun 2023

Beautiful views, convenient location for beaches and Conwy town, and the cleanest facilities I've ever seen at a campsite. Wardens were friendly and helpful. Couldn't recommend it more and will be coming back.

Great campsite

Medium Tent - Electric Grass PitchesJun 2023

Very well maintained and to a high standard. Nature of the site is its hillside, so wind is an issue, as well as a fair climb back up either walking or biking. But overall we enjoyed it, and would stay again.

I highly recommend

Medium Tent - Electric Grass PitchesMay 2023

We planned a three-day camping trip to N Wales and stayed at Trwwyn yr Wylfa site. Easy to find and set back overlooking the sea with hills behind. Sun all day. Greeted by the site owner who gave us a quick rundown of the site, gave us a map and showed us to our pitch. Well planned out site with lots of electric pitches. Well maintained with very clean facilities; showers, toilets, dishwashing, freezers and fridges and even a dog wash station. There is also a fenced-off dog field at the back of the site. Great local maps and information are made available. Great for those who love walking the hills and down to the beaches (one of which is dog friendly). Also a good base for going to different N Wales seaside towns for the day. The site also has WiFi.

Large Tent - Non Electric Grass PitchesMay 2023

Found this campsite by chance, the location is superb! There are a couple of pubs within walking distance and a decent takeaway and supermarket in the village. The campsite itself is spotless with well cut grass and the toilets and showers are immaculate.

Where to start... The location is great for visiting the different areas in this region and if you don't fancy driving around, the train station is a 10-15 min walk away, as is a lovely long stretch of beach. The site itself is well-presented and very clean. The toilet and showers are among the best I've seen, especially the family shower huts. Views from the pitches are fantastic, the beach on one side and the dramatic mountains on the other. The TV signal is good as is the phone signal. The enclosed dog walking area is on a slope and big enough for your dog to have a great off-lead run. The warden that greeted us on arrival was extremely helpful if any problems arose. There is a pizza van that comes on-site on a fri/sat/sun evening. I would not hesitate to recommend this site to anybody.

Sprinter-Type Campervan - Electric Gravel PitchesApr 2023

Very well maintained. Spacious level pitches separated by wooden fences. Staggered and terraced on a field to maximise the lovely views towards Anglesey over the sea. Our pitch had morning and evening sun. Very clean facilities. Friendly owner. Excellent scenic location, with mountains to the south and sea to the north.

Large Tent - Non Electric Grass PitchesApr 2023

This campsite was truly amazing. There were showers, toilets, kitchen area and laundry facilities, and they were all kept so clean it felt like walking into a 5* hotel bathroom. The views were amazing, the staff were incredibly welcoming and nice. The site was so well-kept and clean, we came away and immediately recommended it to our friends. We will 100% be coming back!

Would stay here again
