Excellent little 4 day get-away. This campsite is at the middle of reachable places to visit. Facilities were spot on in my opinion, always clean, plenty of hot water for showers and washing. Even has a laundry room (not needed on this occasion). Owners are so friendly and helpful. Excellent value for money. Electric hook-up was pay for what you use, which for the 4 night stay cost £1.15 - this had our fridge, cooker and tech charging all the time. We will definitely return next year.

Definitely recommend. Site is a beautiful spot next to a river with good walks for the dogs. I stayed in the adults only part and all amenities were within 50 meters. Could hear a little bit of noise from the family part of the site but not enough to effect our stay Staff were fantastic & very helpful and will definitely go again.

Staff were helpful and friendly. Site was well maintained and showers/ toilets were very clean. Bar area was great and we particularly enjoyed the guitarist/singer on Saturday night.

Lovely clean and friendly campsite. Toilet and shower block very clean, relaxing and peaceful on the adult only field and decent pint from the ba. Would definitely come back. Dog friendly park.

Second stay just as good as last year. Quiet pitch, clean facilities. Bar on site open 6-10. Charge for electricity now (which I think is fine) used for 1 night 41p to pay- really good value.

We stayed for 2 nights as a trial in a trailer tent. Close to M4. Owners were very helpful and friendly. Toilet/shower block were very clean. Site was well maintained.

A fantastic site with everything you need. Excellent facilities and some lovely extras such as outside covered bar and snug in case it rains. It was also quiet and perfect for a relaxing break. Cannot recommend it highly enough.

Lovely site. Friendly welcoming. Love how it is set out. When we arrived we were upgraded to a hard standing which was more than perfect due to the weather, as it didn't stop raining. Love the fairies in the woodland, which I found walking the dogs. Clean toilet and showers. The bar area was busy with a party, but we were invited in. So we had a quick look. The pods are fab, and the music was wonderful to listen to. Definitely come back here again.

What an absolute amazing place. Got everything you absolutely need on site. Shop and a bar haha… We actually loved this place. We had actually taken our dog as well and there was a lovely walk nearby the river. Showers and toilets were absolutely spotless. Lovely place to relax - will definitely be returning to this little gem of a place..

The campsite is close to the M4, which makes it easy to get to a lot of points of interest. The facilities (showers, toilets, etc) all work well and are very clean. We had a lovely stay here. It's a nice and quiet campsite and the host is very welcoming.

This is a nice site but mainly geared up for caravans and motor homes and camper vans. We pitched our tent in the 'quiet area' which we had requested. This was a mistake as the pitches are quite small and we were hemmed in by other tents and vans which made us feel a bit claustrophobic. The children's area at the top of the site has bigger pitches and much more space. The facilities were good and clean though and we were close to main routes which made days out easy.

Lovely campsite, location was excellent for visiting local attractions. Our dog loved the field and the walks by the lake and in the wooded area, excellent campsite for dogs. Showers were very hot and everywhere was clean and well looked after. We will definitely be returning.

We stayed here for a long weekend to explore beaches and castles with the kids. It has a great selection of places to visit and a the facilities were great! They also had a lovely bar area where they hosted the jubilee party with BBQ and bouncy castle.

It's great that you only pay for what you use with the electric making it much cheaper. The ground and facilities are well maintained. Fabulous place.

This is a beautiful caravan/camping site, it's in a fantastic wooded area with some lovely walks. We only stayed two nights but we will definitely go back. Great fully serviced hardstanding pitch.

Our stay was absolutely perfect and it was a wonderful site. The only changes I would make would be a fold away seat and shelf in the showers but that didn't spoil the stay so still 10/10!

If you want to kick off you shoes, forget about the hustle and bustle of life and just totally chill, this is the place to go. It's well maintained, toilets/showers were spotless and the electric was on the meter so you just pay for what you use and nothing more! There's a small park for the children and a outdoor bar for the adults and some nice walks for the dog, so there's something for everyone.

This was the first time we have stayed at River View and we were not disappointed. It is set in a lovely quiet setting which is exactly what we were after. The shower and toilet block was very clean and tidy. Although we didn't use the on-site bar it looked very quaint and quirky. We will definitely return and will visit the pub. There is a small shop which sells essentials you may have forgotten to take with you. Easy to find the waste area and there is a wash room with tumble dryer washing machine and microwave. If you want peace and tranquillity this is the place to go.
