Great site

Great site. Lots of things to do, especially if you have a family. I booked a massage with Claire, I would definitely recommend. No restaurant because of the fire but they had a different food van each night. I can recommend the Thai food that was there when we were. A lot of the pitches are not level so definitely need your chocks. Showers are lovely and clean and have plenty of room for changing. We went in September 2024 and was quiet. Very clean and tidy site.

We have a mix of non-electric, grass with electric, hard standing with electric and fully serviced pitches with some being flat and others with a slight slop. When booking online or over the phone we can inform you of the pitches available along with a description of each pitch and a pitch can be requested. Fantastic facilities

This is our first time in Devon and Cornwall so wanted to take in as much as we could over 10 days staying at a few places WoodaFarm is def on our list for a few days next year the Facilities are second to none so much to do on site pity the restaurant was closed but the takeaway and food pop ups were perfect

Great place

Only a few days away, was perfect, very clean, well managed… lots to do…cheeky 10 minute walk to Preston Gate Pub…not enough time to investigate facilities fully… need to go back!

Lovely family-friendly site in great location

What a gem of a site! As a family of four we spent a lovely bank holiday here enjoying the themed nights, well-sized pitches, and lovely clean facilities as well as all of the local places to visit. We enjoyed ourselves so much that we have already booked to go back for a longer stay.

A good site with good facilities. The fire earlier this year in the restaurant kitchens has had an effect on there ability to host guests but they're are trying hard to work around the issue. I believe that the food they are current offering is overpriced and somewhat basic. A burger with nothing else (no chips, crisps etc) for £12-15 is not good. They could also do with a better way of ordering and delivering the food. Walking around with the food going cold shouting the customers name when it's noisy does not work, especially when you are all sitting in a gazebo outside. That aside, they are trying hard to provide a reasonable service.

Best site by far

Been camping for many years and Wooda is the nicest site by far. Already looking at rebooking next year with other families.

Great campsite with many extras

Booked knowing this was a good site but didn’t realise how many things were on site! Toilets and shower block nearest our tent had been recently done in a much more modern way and were always clean. The bar and walk to see animals were a very much appreciated ‘added bonus’ to the site. The park would be great for those with younger children! Would stay again!

Absolutely beautiful

Wow! We had only been there 20 minutes and immediately tried to arrange an extra night and amend our booking at our next destination. The staff are very friendly and helpful, toilets, showers etc are very clean and the on site facilities including bar, takeaway, golf, dog walking area are amazing. Just a 30 minute walk down to Bude, on a hot day can be quiet tough but there is pub near the top. Definitely will be returning.

Clean, convenient location

Reduce price on food and drink and locate toilets closer to the central field.

Excellent stay

We camped with our ten year old and our puppy, my favourite campsite yet. The amenities were great and exceptionally clean. The staff were all lovely, particularly the guys in the cocktail bar! Would highly recommend.

Amazing site, great facilities and close to the beach

We booked five nights on a non-electric hook up pitch at the last minute. The site is immaculate and ideal for exploring Bude and the local area. We were camping with our three girls (4, 6, and 8). The girls loved the park, the animals, and the freedom to cycle their bikes around our camping area. Our pitch (18) was on a slight slope, which wasn't ideal. It was also close to the on-site takeaway/late-night arrivals car park, which was sometimes noisy and bright. This wouldn't stop me booking again, but I would request a different location.

Super campsite

Our visit

The park is immaculately kept, the toilets and showers are superb, clean and luxurious. The pitches are big and divided by a hedge, so fairly private. The downfall of this site is the pub which serves food is closed on a Sunday and Monday! A takeaway is available between 5pm and 8pm but just burgers, nuggets, chips not great. There is a small shop but very basic. The park is quiet and out of the way, so not ideal. There is a small play park.. This place could do with a small pool or splash park and a bar or eatery open everyday.

With regards to the comments that you have made concerning The Courtyard Bar & Grill and The Lodge Takeaway. There is always somewhere to eat on the park and I am sorry that The Courtyard Bar & Grill was closed for 2 nights of your stay and that the food choices from the takeaway were not to your liking. I am also sorry to read the comments that you have made about the onsite farm shop being small and very basic, the park being quiet and out of the way and the play park being small. The farm shop is extremely popular with our guests and we are frequently complimented on the variety of items that the shops stocks and the competitive prices. Wooda is situated a mile and a half from Bude and guests that stay here are mainly couples or families with many returning year after year. The play park equipment was replaced 2 years ago and along the grassed area used for ball games this is very popular facility with our guests. We hope to welcome you back to Wooda in the future. Very clean

Clean and friendly site. Well maintained and friendly helpful staff. My only concern, is the amount of children roaming the park unsupervised during the evening and the language they used. The people next to us had two dogs that barked a lot too which was very annoying.

Our park rules do clearly state that parents are responsible for the supervision of their children at all times, especially when using the park's facilities. Parents should always be responsible for their children and make sure they know where they are at all times and this includes children of the age of sixteen and under. I also note your comment relating to the dogs that were barking next to your pitch and I can only apologise. If these issues had been reported to reception or by calling the out of hours number, we would have done out absolute best to resolve them for you as we want all our guests to enjoy their stay at Wooda. Lovely stay

Very nice one night stay

Very nice campsite. Spotless facilities, and lots of things are available to the clients. We stayed only one night but I would have liked to stay more to enjoy everything.

We Wooda come again

A wonderful Cornish retreat. The facilities were exceptional and always clean. But, it was the other options which made the difference for us. We loved the pisky trail, table tennis and the golf plus Boris Bruce and Bessie. The dog walk and little agility setup was great and having a dog wash on site was perfect for the after beach days. The yoga with Mel on the Wednesday was perfectly timed and the fresh pastries at the coffee lodge went down a treat. My only down mark on location was I just wish it had been slightly nearer to a beach and we wouldn't of had to drive off site at all :-) A few suggestions just from our experience - if you had a bike rental, we would have been out on the bike trail no doubt, if you had a little laundry liquid dispenser we would have used the laundrette and lastly a small games room for the kids when the weather is poor with perhaps some board games/sandpit/soft play or similar. But these are far from negatives as we really have loved our stay :-)

Fabulous site!

Amazing site, great short cut to the nearest Pub. Courtyard bar very dog friendly superb service and great food. maintenance and service guys constantly cutting the grass, hedges etc. Shower and toilet facilities are amazing 👏 Thank you for a wonderful holiday x

Excellent!

We have been camping for many years and Wooda Farm is top of the list. The site was beautiful location, with very good facilities, including the activities. Everything was kept to a very high standard of cleanliness and the staff were friendly and approachable. We'll definitely be back !

Just perfect! Beautiful place, would definitely return

We visited Wooda for the first time, staff couldn't do enough for you especially in reception, very helpful! On arrival, our pitch was still occupied as we arrived early, before checking in time, this wasn't a problem and we chose out of 5 available other pitches! The site is immaculate, especially the toilet blocks (very classy),the grounds are well maintained and very pretty. There is everything on site you could possibly need. We played golf, went to the gym most days, tennis, badminton, table tennis and a wellness centre (amazing massage). We would definitely recommend this site, and the local pub, Preston Gate Inn, does an amazing Sunday lunch. Overall, 10/10 👍
