About Wantisden Park
Nestled on a private estate and overlooking both ancient woodland and water, you'll find a range of pitches catering for everyone from the traditional tent camper to those looking for a bit of glamping luxury at this dog friendly site. Grass pitches cater to tents and tourers and include optional electric hook up with easy access to the onsite facilities. Glamping takes the spotlight here however, and there's a range of options to choose from, all accommodating two adults and a dog and designed for those who enjoy being outdoors but also want a touch of luxury. For those more back to basic glampers, there are four small and two large wooden tents including single or double beds, lighting and heating and close to the shared site facilities. There are two ensuite glamping pods with hot tubs, Bluebell and Foxglove. Each with fully equipped kitchens, toilets and showers, as well as double beds including linen and looking out onto beautiful views. Both of these pods have a private decked area with wood fired hot tubs and charcoal BBQs. You'll also find a further two ensuite lodges, Birch and Willow. These both include partitioned double bedrooms and access to private bathrooms. There is a living area with a TV and kitchen with dining space, fridge, freezer, microwave, hob, toaster and kettle. Outside there's a decking area with seating and a charcoal BBQ. The Suffolk Ram Shepherd's Hut is also ensuite and has a stunning Swedish burning hot tub on the private decking, as well as a charcoal BBQ. You'll also find a kitchen, woodburning stove and king size bed inside and the luxury bathroom is equipped with three shower heads. The King's Oak roundhouse is the ideal romantic escape. Inside is a kitchen and dining area, bathroom with walk in shower and double bed. Bed linen provided. Outside, you'll enjoy use of a private veranda and a delicious hot tub. There are a further two twin ensuite pods, Lady Caroline and Lady Jane, both with wood fired hot tubs. These unique pods are converted from living vans pulled by steam engines and contain a kitchenette with oven, hob and fridge and a table and benches which turn into a fold down double bed. The attached bathroom has a luxury shower and toilet and there's a large balcony overlooking the woodland with a charcoal BBQ and seating area. There's also a cottage next to the glamping site, sleeping up to four across two bedrooms, meaning you'll be spoilt for choice with a whole range of accommodation options here. Whilst all the pitches are adult only, there may be a small number of children staying in the pods.
