About Woodfire at Westerlands
Set amongst the rolling hills of the South Downs, the site is centred around food, family and enjoying the outdoors. This is the camping that summers are made of with glorious views, wonderful walking routes, campfires and delicious meals on offer. Bring your tent and you can pitch up anywhere you like on the field, regardless of the size of your tent - this site keeps things relaxed and easy. There are a total of 21 non electric tent pitches with five pitches also catering for small campervans, all allowing up to six guests. If hammering in tent pegs doesn't suit, you can have a holiday under canvas that's blissfully hassle free. The site offers four stylish pre-pitched tents with beds provided inside and cosy bedroom lighting. It's all the fun of camping, without bringing a car boot packed with equipment! The water for everything on the campsite is the purest natural spring water, taken from deep underground. The site's facilities are designed to be as environmentally friendly as possible. This campsite is about living lightly on the land for a few days, enjoying the environment that surrounds you while making as little impact as possible. Don't forget the delicious food too. The heart of the campsite is at the camp kitchen where on most days the site will be cooking up a feast over fire. Expect hearty home cooking where you can dine with family, friends or fellow campers at communal trestle tables. Dogs are welcome to join you in your own camping tent, but sorry they cannot stay in pre-erected tents.
The site is open from April to the end of September for weekends and the school holidays.
