About the site

This family-run campsite is quiet and secluded, yet only a five minute walk from the historic market town of Minchinhampton. This site is a great base to explore all the Cotswolds AONB has to offer and guests can even enjoy views of farmland and roaming donkeys and ponies. There are 18 spacious grass pitches set across 2.5 acres of farmland. The 12 large grass pitches have access to a water tap and optional electric hook up. These are suitable for tents, trailer tents, single and twin-axle caravans, campervans and motorhomes. Three of these are reserved just for motorhomes. There are also six paddock grass pitches for tents only. Four of these have just a water tap and no electric and the other two have a water tap and access to optional electric hook up. Each tent pitch accommodates a large tent, two medium sized tents or up to four two-man tents. All grass pitches can accommodate awnings, pup tents and gazebos at no extra cost. Pitches are also pre-allocated so you won't have to worry about anyone camping in front of you. The ground is solid and drains well, but to maintain this the site asks that once you have pitched up you park in the free parking area. Only one vehicle is allowed per booking. There are picnic tables dotted across the site for guests to use, and you can even see the neighbouring donkeys and ponies roaming in the field! For those hoping to explore the Cotswolds, Cirencester is a 20 minute drive, while Bibury is 30 minutes away! For those hoping to bring their pup along, up to three dogs are welcome to join you per pitch. There is even a designated dog walking area onsite. If you're after dinner al fresco, the site has a selection of raised fire pits and BBQs that guests are welcome to use! You can even purchase logs onsite. Please note that the campsite is located 300m from the main gate down a single track, so early / late arrivals cannot be accommodated without 24 hours notice.

Tobacconist Farm is open from 01/04 to 30/10.

Small Tent - Paddock Non Electric Grass Tent PitchesOct 2024

Top notch facilities. The site was well drained, we stayed after some heavy rain. The site was very quiet, a lovely area, with lots of walks with some steep drops. The village has everything you might need, 2 cafes, a chemist, a post office, general shops and pubs etc. I would stay there again and would recommend.
