Bracelands Campsite offers 30 hectares of spacious pitches with panoramic views of the Forest of Dean. Tents and tourers can pitch up on spacious grass and hardstanding pitches, with electric available, along with cosy camping pods. The area is full of great walks and cycling routes with direct access from the site. The famous Wye River, Symonds Yat and activities in the Dean and Wye Valley are also within a 30 minute walk. Dogs are welcome too.

About Bracelands Campsite
A pretty family friendly site set in the heart of the Forest of Dean, ideal for a peaceful getaway in the great outdoors. Watch from your pitch as deer roam around the site, wildlife is a plenty! Perfectly located for exploring the Wye Valley. The site has a great range of accommodation options to choose from. With spacious pitches for tents and tourers on grass or hardstanding with the option of electric, suitable for vehicles measuring 8m x 5m. There is also a rally field for school groups and rallies as well as the option of seasonal pitches. If you don't fancy bringing a tent there are also five camping pods with beautiful views over the Forest of Dean, simply choose between furnished or unfurnished. The furnished pods have a triple bunk and single trundle, lighting, electric and a heater. You will need to bring your own bedding and camping essentials. During the summer months, there are a range of onsite activities, great for all of the family. Guests can enjoy easy access to a wide variety of forest walks and cycling trails, with exclusive discounts for campers on many of the local attractions. Sorry, campfires are not allowed. Charcoal only BBQs are permitted as long as they are raised from the ground. These must be extinguished by 10pm. Dogs are welcome with a maximum of three per pitch, and two in camping pods for an extra cost.
Bracelands Campsite is open from 03/01 to 31/12 in 2024 and all year round in 2025.

These two bedroom safari tents are pre-erected and have real beds, a relaxing sofa, and a kitchen and dining area. Ready Camp tents are perfect for relaxing nights in. These sleep up to four adults and two kids in comfort. Sorry, pets cannot stay.

During the summer months there are free arts and crafts for the kids, guided woodland walks and archery. There are also scenic walks and cycle paths aplenty, with the River Wye just a 35-minute walk away.
For those looking for adventure, there are guided Ranger activities at the nearby Christchurch site, or Forest of Dean Adventure Park and GoApe! nearby. Bike hire can also be found locally.
