Lakefield Caravan Park is situated on the outskirts of Camelford, ten minutes from Tintagel and the Cornwall coast. This peaceful site is home to spacious grass pitches for both tents and tourers, with the option of electric too. Set on 54 acres, there is also an equestrian centre onsite so you will have horses for neighbours. Bodmin Moor, St Nectan's Waterfall, Tintagel Castle and Trebarwith Beach are also within a 15 minute drive!

About Lakefield Caravan Park
The perfect spot for horse lovers. This family and dog friendly campsite is ideally nestled on a 54 acre small holding, with its own onsite livery and equestrian centre. Start your day with a hack and then make the ten minute drive down to the beach for an afternoon by the sea. There are a total of 33 pitches available onsite, each a generous 10m x 15m so everyone has plenty of space. Tents, trailer tents, campervans, motorhomes and caravans are all welcome, with up to six people per pitch. The electric pitches also include a 16 amp hook up, whilst the non electric pitches have a hedge to one side. Within a 15 minute drive of Bodmin Moor and the South West Coast Path, the site is also ideally places for a walking or hiking holiday. The popular destinations of Bude, Polzeath and Port Isaac can also be reached within 20 minutes. Four-legged friends are also welcome to join you for your stay, with up to four allowed per pitch. There is an onsite dog exercise area where they can be off the lead. Don't forget to bring the BBQ along, just please ensure it remains off the ground. Campfires are prohibited.
Lakefield Caravan Park is open from 01/05 to 31/10 in 2024 and from 03/05 to 31/10 in 2025.
The toilet and shower block includes free hot water and a coin-operated laundry. The site has two drinking water points and two large sinks at the end of the toilet block, suitable for washing up or rinsing out wetsuits. There is an off-lead exercise area for dogs, along with a grassy area for games.
The onsite riding school and livery offers a range of horse riding lessons and hacks.
The Hilltop Farm Shop is a five minute drive away for picking up local produce. Mexi-Kernow is a ten minute walk away serving Mexican food from a food truck, with Tintagel Brewery Bar and Bistro and the Masons Arms also within a five minute drive.

Be good if there was something to do for kids. Like a firepit where families could all sit round or a room for little music parties like disco. A lot of low expense ideas.

It would be really good if the standings were a bit more level. Location wise it is perfect for Bude, Boscastle, Tintagel and it's close to Clovelly. I know the area well and will certainly stay here again. Wi-Fi would be good to have.
