VW-Type Campervan - Non-Electric Grass PitchesAug 2022

A stunning site site nearby to a river which was ideal for the 2 dogs to swim in. Also a handy base for local amenities and the beaches around 45 minutes away. The staff were most welcoming, helpful, and nothing was too much trouble. We camped in the large field under a tall hedge which gave us and the dogs some respite from the sun. The site was clean and facilities were good. The only reason I gave 4 stars for cleanliness was down to the fact that a minority of holiday makers think it is right to leave all their rubbish behind for the wardens to pick up. Facilities were fine, and we understand a second block will be built a little nearer to the camping field. We must have enjoyed it, as we ended up buying a sited static home there. Thank you to all at the site.

Large Tent - Electric Grass Pitches Aug 2022

Amazing site, small group of family went and couldn't ask for a more clean and tidy site. Close to local town. Only problem is toilet/shower a little far from camping grounds.

Good campsite

Trailer Tent - Electric Grass Pitches Jul 2022

The nearby pubs are a couple of miles away. The laundrette says £1 for washer and £1 for dryer,. It was a little confusing as it's only a £1 for a 40 mins wash but you don't know until you put £1 in and turn the machine on and you can't put extra in until the machine stops, dryer £1 for 2 mins. Website says you can arrive between 1 & 6 and depart at 11. People seemed to come on at 10am for your spot. Other than that very peaceful and a basic park for the kids.

Large Tent - Electric Grass Pitches Jul 2022

We choose this site as it is around 1hr from home. Site was easy to find. We had a warm welcome & very helpful. Location of pitch was good, the area is very flat. Toilets, showers, laundry & washing up area around 2-3mins walk from pitch. They were extremely clean. 2 toilets & 1 shower each for males & females. It would be great if some additional facilities were built closer to the tent area. 10min drive into Welshpool for any supplies

Motorhome - Electric Grass Pitches Jun 2022

The wardens were superb and went above and beyond expectations. We will certainly recommend this site. It will be even better when extra toilet facilities are installed. We normally use our own facilities, so this did not bother us unduly. Unfortunately, we had to cut short our stay due to illness. Steve, Mrs Steve and Richard were more than helpful and made sure we had a safe return home - we thank them from the bottom of our hearts.

Great place to stay, highly recommend

We had a lovely stay at Henllan. The park was very clean and it had a small park for our kids. Great value for money, highly recommended!

Large Tent - Electric Grass Pitches May 2022

We were disappointed to be told by the site manager that we couldn't join the Jubilee fun on Saturday, as we would have to be packed and leaving by 11. He told us the managers paid £7 a head for a hog roast and we were booked to leave, so the kids couldn't stay and enjoy the bouncy castle. We didn't want food, we just booked a week's holiday with them so the kids could experience camping and the Jubilee fun. We had a tourer pitched 3ft from our tent entrance so we struggled to cook. We left 5 days early as we couldn't get past the fact we were treated disrespectfully by the site manager who wouldn't let our children have a bounce on a castle. We felt he was rude and it didn't feel safe having to climb over wires to get in and out of our tent entrance. We lost money leaving early. Sad, as the site itself was beautiful and tidy.

Would 100% recommend
