Great little find - will be back! Campsite has wonderful views and is well located for trips to the black mountains. We were very thankful for the covered area with picnic benches provided to cook under whilst it was raining. It made all the difference. Staff were really friendly and accommodating, and it felt very welcoming to be able to check out at any time of day of check out - no stressful rushing about. Only improvement would be to have more than one women's shower working - the one that was working however was very warm and spacious!

I've enjoyed a brilliant solo break at this lovely quiet site. Very well placed for beautiful walks and a lovely view from all of the fields. The site is on a slope, so if you're in a van, bring some levelling blocks, but doable without as I have done.
Great site run by great people

We absolutely loved this campsite and wished we could have stayed more than 1 night (we will definitely be back again though). We have 3 dogs, one of whom is quite nervous, and this site was perfect as there was plenty of space and we were able to park where we wanted, away from other campers. When we arrived, the gentleman at reception was very friendly and helpful. He kindly let us know that there was a dog walk where dogs could go off lead, which was a real bonus as we hadn't been expecting that! The dogs had a blast, running around and exploring, which tired them out ready for a good night's sleep! Although there was no rubbish disposal on site, we were very pleased to find that there was a dog poo bin, so we didn't have to worry about having to take several bags of smelly dog poo home with us! As for the humans, there are no toilets on site, so you do need to bring your own. Likewise, no showers, but this was not a problem for us as we only stayed for 1 night. The campsite was easy to find, even though it felt like being in the middle of nowhere, and the views were stunning. Both Wi-Fi and TV signals were (surprisingly) excellent!

Basic site with lots of space to choose your pitch all with outstanding views. Toilet and shower were ok. Not great but did what we needed.

Great family campsite. Took my 2 children (aged 4 & 6) here for the weekend in our trailer tent, and my parents came along in their motorhome. What a great site. Real camping experience, quiet site, plenty of room for my children to be children and run around. They loved the freedom of being able to ride their bikes and being able to roam free. Great people. Had the best weekend. Will definitely be returning! Thank you for a fantastic stay. 100% recommend.

The hosts were absolutely lovely! We forgot a pump for the air bed and they saved the day by helping us. The views were amazing and would highly recommend staying here!

A really picturesque site with huge amounts of space (which equals freedom to pick your site and massive space between pitches). The owner is very welcoming, chatty and engaging. The toilet/shower block is basic, but perfect for the setting.

The views and the space we had to set up our tent was fantastic. Great comms from owners when we arrived late due to a puncture. The site is rustic and very relaxed. Talgarth is a great area. We had 3 dogs with us and they had a great time too. We will definitely return.

Beautiful location. Lovely walks. Just turned up and pitched where we wanted to. Lovely and quiet. Portable loos a bit smelly and wouldn't want to use them in high season.
Great site - stunning views

Lovely site - we spoke to the owner informing him of our arrival time and he was very relaxed. We didn't see any staff members during our stay. The loos were fine, we didn't use the showers so can't comment.

We have visited Newcourt Farm many times before, it is a lovely site with basic but perfectly good facilities. Huge fields with plenty of space. The weather was rather good this time too, which is not always guaranteed in Wales.
Fabulous location

Wonderful stay in a well located site. Personally I prefer the more rustic and relaxed and basic sites like this - so this was perfect. David was a wonderful host: welcoming, friendly and helpful. The location is fabulous for exploring this part of the Brecon Beacons and the Wye Valley.

Fantastic place to camp and good value. It's as close you can get to wild camping without wild camping. The place is nice and somewhat remote from the rest of the world. Pub 10min down the road, which is nice, and you do get a decent network phone coverage, so you can stay in touch with loved ones (or keep screaming kids entertained for a bit. Your choice). Facilities are great, with decent showers which are at the top of the campsite. There are portable loos in the motorhome/ carpark area which is not the best but it's practical and clean. Great campsite and the farmer who runs the site is a lovely bloke and vey knowledgeable of the area. Will definitely come again Parking could possibly be an issue if it a true British summer hits (wet). I came on my motorcycle and yes I got my bike down to my pitch, but I moved it as it would be a pain later when it rained so I moved it to the carpark. It was quiet when I went so parking was easy. Still would recommend staying on this campsite though.
Could be amazing

View was fantastic and David the owner is very friendly. A relaxed campsite. We felt the only drawback were the facilities. The portaloos were not good and smelt and, while the main toilet block was better, they too could still do with some cleaning.
Quiet, picturesque stay

Lovely views, very quiet camping site. Good facilities, showers weren't working because of the cold but toilets were very clean. There are taps available as well with fresh drinking water. There are limited hard gravel pitches for cars/campervans but plenty of tent pitches. There is a Co-op a 6 minute drive from the campsite as well, which is very handy.

Music and partying by a huge group

We stayed two nights at Newcourt. We badly needed some peace and quiet, having recently gone through a very difficult personal struggle, so we choose a weekend outside of the school holidays in the beautiful Black Mountains, hoping to recharge. The nature is breath-taking and the campsite was clean and tidy but Newcourt had booked a large party of 25 tents in one of the fields. The very loud music, shouting, screaming, and partying noise shattered the night and continued on until the early hours. Hardly surprising, we didn't sleep a wink and to be honest, the whole thing beggars belief! If you want some peace and quiet in nature, I would not recommend. We got back home more stressed and tired then when we left.
