VW-Type Campervan - Non Electric Grass PitchesOct 2024

First time visit to Oaklea. Exceptionally clean with all facilities on the door step. Location great no more than 20 min drive to beaches or seaside towns. Lovely welcome, didn't take us long to pitch the awning and settle in! Would definitely recommend a visit, I will be going back for sure ๐Ÿ‘

VW-Type Campervan - Non Electric Grass PitchesSep 2024

Although a little isolated, there are superb places to visit locally. The site is immaculate with every facility you need. All clean, working and in a relaxed environment. Superb! Only just started my van journey but from what I have seen so far, Oaklea is going to be very hard to be beaten.

Lovely, quiet site

Single Axle Caravan - Electric Hardstanding Touring PitchesSep 2024

With only six hardstanding pitches and the camping field slightly separate, Oaklea feels very private and peaceful. New shower and toilet facilities are spotlessly clean and pretty luxurious by some standards! The site used to be a vineyard and guests are encouraged to take a walk around the fields, which are all tranquil and ideal for morning dog walks, as is the fenced dog field. The owners are helpful and friendly. Our pitch in the corner was private and spacious, with views of the sunset across the fields. It did lack a bit of sunlight to dry clothes, but that wasn't a big deal. Martletwy is a tiny village, with a decent location south west of Narberth and north west of Pembrokeshire's idyllic coastline. We found it excellent for getting everywhere, although if you don't like to drive every day, we found a few OS marked footpaths haven't been maintained, so check before you head out. A visit to the cafe at Lawrenny Quay on your way out and the Cresselly Arms on your way home are recommended.
