Rivermill Touring Caravan and Camping Park has the best of both worlds - being close to all the amenities you could need (walking distance from Ramsey centre) but also handy for days in the countryside and Fenland. Relax by the riverside and try some fishing in the season. Glampers can make themselves at home in a furnished shepherd's hut.
About Rivermill Touring Caravan and Camping Park
This peaceful park sits close to a river, with its pretty riverside path. It's a modest drive from the Nene Valley Railway and slightly further from historic Ely. It's an unmanned site which operates by self check-in and has a security gate to keep guests safe. There are back to basics tent pitches without electric, or you can also have an electric hook-up for your tent. All the touring pitches are on combination grass and hardstanding with electric. Get a taste for glamping with one of two attractive shepherd's huts, both furnished and well equipped. These both include electric, a microwave, a kettle and heating. One has a double bed and sofa bed to sleep four, while the other has double futons or sofa beds with an extra fold out bed so that you can add a fifth person if needed.

Try a round of golf in Ramsey or give the kids a splash in its modern swimming pool. There'll definitely be a tasty place for them to refuel those calories after too.
A ride back through time on the Nene Valley Railway is a lovely way to travel and they host theme days throughout the year.
Bird fans should swoop to the Raptor Foundation, where there are well looked after birds of prey and trained instructors can show their hunting and flying habits. For more wildlife action Hamerton Zoo Park is also within a 30 minute drive.
