Graham and Louise welcome you to Holsome Park Camping, a family run campsite situated in the heart of the Devon countryside, in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The campsite is spacious and enjoys unspoilt panoramic views to Dartmoor. Conveniently located 10 minutes from the A38, between Dartmoor and the South Devon coast. The farm and campsite are run in an environmentally conscious fashion.
About Holsome Park Camping
Holsome Park Camping is situated in the heart of the Devon countryside, offering unspoilt panoramic views to Dartmoor. Conveniently located 10 minutes from the A38, between Dartmoor and the South Devon coast, the site is well placed for either a walk on Dartmoor or hitting the South Hams coastline. It's a quiet, friendly and spacious site which opens for the summer holidays only. The pitches are not marked out, with the exception of the electric hook-ups, and you are welcome to chose where you pitch. This is a hands-off site, so here if you need any assistance, it's there - but if not you are left to your own devices. Well behaved dogs welcome.
The site is open for the summer holidays only, from mid July to the start of September.

Site rules and policies
SUMMARY OF SITE RULES (Full details on request)
• NO refunds/discounts for inclement weather, late arrivals or early departures.
• One pitch consist of one tent, unless otherwise agreed by HPC.
• The management reserves the right to deny access or terminate the stay of those guests whose behaviour is deemed unsuitable. No refunds will be offered.
• You have to speak to Louise before you pitch your tent.
• Quiet hours must be respected between 9pm and 8am.
• If you wish to have visitors on site, this has to be arranged in advance with Louise.
• One warning will be given in the circumstances of "unacceptable behaviour" on site, if any further "unacceptable behaviour" occurs then your booking will be forfeited and your party/booking will be asked to leave the site.
• Dogs must be kept on leads and supervised at all times. If they foul in the campsite YOU MUST pick it up. If we catch anyone not picking up the mess, they will be asked to leave immediately. Pet poo can cause, in humans; Toxoplasmosis and in cattle Neospora caninum.
Children should be accompanied by an adult at all times.
ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE.
Pitches will be available from 3pm on the day of arrival unless agreed otherwise by HPC.
Pitches shall be vacated by 11am on the day of departure unless agreed otherwise by HPC.
No arrivals earlier than 3pm or later than 8pm unless specifically agreed with HPC.
No departures earlier than 8am unless specifically agreed with HPC.
If you arrive outside of the 3-8pm window then there will be a charge of £5.00 if this is agreed by Holsome Park Camping. If you arrive without prior consent then the charge will be £10.00. The same charges apply to late departures. Strictly no late arrivals after 9pm.
Things to do on site and in the Totnes area
The owners manage 1,000 acres, split between Holsome, Soar and Beesands, in an environmentally conscious manner. At Holsome, there is a mixed suckler herd of British white and Stabiliser cattle and visitors are able to take a walk round the farm and meet the animals. You can even feed the chickens and collect the eggs in the morning.
Activities nearby include carp fishing, riding, cycling and hiking through stunning Devon scenery.
Plymouth is a short drive away where you can visit the Hoe and wonder at the animals in the National Marine aquarium. You'll also love the Barbican, Smeaton Tower and much more. Sumptuous beaches are located within a short drive (10 miles), including Bigbury, Bantham, South Sands, Blackpool Sands, East Soar Cove, and Slapton.
National Trust sites which are nearby Saltrum House, Cotehele, Buckland Abby, Overbecks and Greenaway. You can do the round robin from Totnes, and travel by train, bus and boat in the South Devon area.
