About Brick Kiln Farm Campsite

Close enough to get back to civilisation, Brick Kiln is well off the beaten track and offers respite from busy lives. Surrounded by fields along a quiet country lane, your only complaint might be the early morning birdsong! It is an ideal place to unwind and relax, get some respite from the bustle of everyday life and enjoy the fresh air. Tents, motorhomes and caravans (no electric hookup), cyclists, motorbikes and backpackers are all welcome. The campsite is flat with well-marked pitches allocated to you on arrival, spread across two well-maintained and spacious fields - 'Guy's Field' and a garden area. Every pitch includes a fire pit and shared facilities are nearby, including hot showers open all day and a kitchen with fridge, microwave, coffee machine and cutlery and crockery. Ideally situated for the coast and local market towns - Framlingham, Orford, Woodbridge and Sutton Hoo. An ideal base to explore this part of the east coast of Suffolk. You're just a ten-minute walk across the field to the village with a fantastic pub and shop. The site is also home to a cosy reading, games and bric-a-brac hut with a spacious undercover seating area for rainy days or to escape the heat. There is also an onsite honesty shop with firewood available for the fire pits. Open campfires and disposable BBQs are not permitted. Dogs are welcome but must be kept on leads at all times. No music, TVs, or radios are allowed due to it being a quiet site, unless listening through headphones.

Brick Kiln Farm Campsite is open from 01/05 to 29/09 in 2024 and from 01/05 to 28/09 in 2025.

A note from the site themselves...

Despite not being a camper, I am passionate about my site and wish to offer the very best experience that I can and wish to offer peace to those who need this in their lives. Guests enjoy the reading hut, and the undercover seating area provides a time for reflection.

Sleeping under the dark night with starry skies is a very special experience, and the campfires complete this!

A warm welcome awaits, and I am always looking for new ways to make your stay as enjoyable and stress-free as possible.

Tina

Small Tent - Non Electric Grass PitchesSep 2024

Spent 2 nights here in a roof tent. It was a really well kept quiet site, with spotless facilities. Loads of hot water for showers and washing up. There was a great outdoor covered area to relax in as well. Nice to see a campsite which retains the facility of fire pits.

Well run and peaceful site with lots of charm

Medium Tent - Non Electric Grass PitchesSep 2024

An extremely peaceful and well run site, with beautifully flat pitches and charming extras (not fully explored) such as a garden rest. An oddly stocked shop, with handy things like a nice cold beer in the fridge and other miscellaneous camping extras and logs for fire pits. Fridge and freezer, kettle, toaster and microwave for use in a pleasant outhouse. Hot showers and a clean fresh toilet area with rugs and other homely touches. Handily situated near Suffolk's coast. We had a very pleasant 2 night stay.
