This place was worth the travel and stay, even on grass pitches without electric hook up for 2 motorhomes. The views, the peace and tranquillity, the service - did not have any fault. Absolutely beautiful little break, and we stayed an extra night!

Although it was windy while we stayed, it never spoiled our stay. The campsite was well kept, with a very short walk to the showers/toilets and washing up area. All of which was kept clean and tidy. As described on the website about the walk down to the beach and back up, it can be a little challenging, but its worth it when you get there. The hosts were great, and nothing was too much trouble for them. Will definitely, stay again, but as well as checking the weather, will check the wind speed as you're on top off the cliff facing the sea.
A spectacular find

Just amazing first camping experience ever. The most incredible time. It appears to be one of the few places in the UK which is right by the sea. The views from the cliff top are amazing as is the beach (which is easily accessible). If you want to get away from it all then this is absolutely the place. We could not have had a warmer welcome. So much so we cancelled our booking at another camp site to stay another night. Just a wonderful place with space to dwell on nature. Certainly a spot to live with the land rather than on it. Awesome. PS. Music isn't allowed so exceptionally peaceful.

The campsite is very clean, well maintained, spacious, and in a beautiful location on the top of the hill overlooking the bay. There is a small shop on the site and National Trust coffee shop and garden nearby. We enjoyed our stay very much, no matter that the weather was not perfect. Our 4-year-old had a great time, she loved the camp and walk and, of course, the beach and sea. So much for children to see and explore. Only around 10 minutes ride from a lovely coastal town of Aberdaron, also a must-see. Just a bit of advice for those who are camping in tents — it can be very windy at the top of the hill. Many thanks to the Treheli Farm campsite!

Absolutely loved loved loved Treheli Farm. Such a beautiful, peaceful place. Very spacious, scenery was incredible. We had a thrashing by the rain whilst down there, but it didn't matter. The air is so clean and the sunset on the first night was incredible. My only grievance was people letting their dogs run free. Should be kept on a lead.

Probably the best campsite we have ever stayed at. Remote and peaceful with stunning views. The facilities are good and the coffee is excellent! We will definitely be coming back.

The owners are very welcoming and accommodating. The bell tent was clean and ready to use, which was great! Some of the pictures show some nice wooden seating outside each bell tent, but this wasn’t the case. It didn’t matter though as we brought our own chairs. The showers and toilets are a little walk, but as we had great weather, that didn’t matter to us at all. There is a lovely little cafe, with great coffee and pastries. They also have good WiFi in the cafe along with plug sockets. The view is incredible! Windy, but breath

This campsite is in a stunning location with fantastic views. It was perfect for the two of us with our dog in-tow. The only note from ourselves for others is it is a little remote. However, there is the coffee shop and the site is around 20 minutes from the major touristy sites like Abersoch and Whistling sands. Would certainly recommend to others. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here.

Our stay here was delightful, location is absolutely stunning. We stayed here as a family of 12 and were made to feel most welcome. The owners were great, very kind. The grass was a lovely length and the site very clean. The washing up area and toilets/showers were always clean. The only thing I suppose that let it down was there only being 2 of each for male and female, but we managed, the water was lovely and hot. The direct beach access was fabulous and a lovely walk. Overall, I would 100% stay here again.

Great location and really lovely staff. Facilities were basic but clean. Views were amazing! We were there through a storm, we got told to stay to the back so we thought we would be fine. We were in a roof tent, and my brother's tent box blew off. We didn't sleep as had to sleep in the car and grab all our belongings in the middle of the night before they flew away. Didn't end up staying for the second night because all our stuff was ruined. No shelter to protect you from the wind as it's right on the cliffs, but would have been perfect if there wasn't a storm.
Beautiful location, can be windy and a fair walk to the toilets

The location is stunning and the coffee shop is brilliant. It is exposed, so consider your equipment carefully if there is bad weather forecast. The downside is the walk to the facilities, especially if you are further down the field (toilets, showers, water and waste). There's only 2 toilets and 2 showers for each gender which didn't seem enough for the size of the site when full. However, they were clean and always had loo roll! The no music rule was lovely.
Fabulous!

Spectacular location (but given it’s a cliff top prepare for wind). Lovely owners. Clean facilities. Small shop / cafe selling hot drinks and treats plus essentials. Path down to the amazing beach is eroded but useable. You won’t want to be marching toddlers down there though.
Fab time, great location

We had a fantastic time at Treheli Farm (despite gale force winds one night). We stayed in a tent with our 3 year-old and had fantastic views out to Hell's Mouth Bay. Nice walk to the toilets and showers which were always clean. It wasn't too busy when we were there, but imagine there may be a small wait for toilets and shower if the site was full. Family friendly site and great that no music/noise allowed.

This really is a great campsite. It's such a beautiful location and the people that run it are lovely. The little on-site coffee shop is a big plus with nice coffee and good WiFi. The owners are quite clear on the idea that there's no music here and as a result it really was very quiet and peaceful. The facilities are really good, nice and clean and well-kept, but are a little trek from the main campsite. This is fine when the weather is good but not so fun when it's wet and windy. In addition to this, there's also a lovely little National Trust place just a few minutes walk from the campsite. Overall, I definitely recommend staying here. We really enjoyed our time at Treheli Farm.

Lovely site in an amazing position. Couldn't really ask for anymore. Facilities are basic but very clean and there is everything you need. Added bonus of a café on site for a hot drink and the loveliest pain au chocolat. The owners are very laid back and always about if you need anything.
Stunning location, owners were extremely helpful and friendly

Only 2 female showers and loos, always clean & good pressure. Be mindful of weather as exposed and many struggled with high wind. Could also do with van loo waste disposal point away from loos. Beach is lovely once you get down to it via a rough path/ scrabble. Great to have regular check-ins with owners who also run the cafe and have wood for fire pits readily available. Would certainly return. Dog friendly, but be mindful of steep field edge if you have young kids.
Not what I expected

Lovely people and very helpful. The site was very clean as were the toilets and showers. The downside was the very long walk to the facilities and the lack of them. Only 2 toilets per male/female and the same for the showers. If it was raining you are getting very wet as none are undercover whilst you wait for a toilet/ shower to become vacant. There is also only one drinking water tap that is also by the toilet. The beach is not really accessible and a dangerous trek down that was mostly pits of smelly, stagnant mud. We never reach the beach and turned back heading for the showers! Unfortunately, we only had 2 days of nice weather but when the weather is windy, it is windy as you are open to the elements and you really need to batten down the hatches and keep tying down your tent. We left a day early as the weather was too bad and the tent was taking a hammering, causing damage. So bear this in-mind and be prepared.

Now let me explain as to why this camping site is almost perfect and not just perfect. I do believe that the toilet and pot washing facilities let us down. There were only 2 male toilet cubicles and 2 shower cubicles, which severely lacked ventilation and were not just enough for everyone. There was often a long queue of people waiting for these facilities, especially during peak hours. The same goes for pot washing area - only 2 sinks for everyone. In addition to this, it was bit of a long trek from the main camping site to the facilities. Along with lack of a proper lighting, this unfortunately made our stay less than perfect (especially at night). Otherwise, wow, what a serene and tranquil this location was. Perfect spot, perfect view, perfect owner - She was extremely lovely and a pleasure to talk with. She couldn't have done more to help and guide us. It is such a shame that the lack of suitable facilities prevent this almost perfect site from being perfect.
