Unwind in the Hampshire countryside at Nige's Camping, a family-run, family-friendly campsite in a quiet, rural location five minutes from the New Forest. There are just 20 grass pitches onsite for tents and campervans, so it will never be too busy. Near the river, with onsite sheep and chickens, it's the ideal location for a relaxing getaway. The shops and restaurants of Fordingbridge are five minutes away, with Bournemouth 25 minutes from site!

Fantastic stay here, great for all the family! Thank you Nige, we had a lovely couple of days away. We will definitely be back for another camping trip! 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Dogs off lead!

The site was generally okay. However, please keep in mind that although it says dogs must be kept on leads, the owner's 2 dogs were allowed to roam around freely. We have a nervous dog, so this wasn't great for us and spoilt our trip. There also aren't any walks directly from the site but you can drive 5 mins down the road to some shops and the New Forest.

We picked Nige's campsite based on location and price. Friendly and welcoming, peaceful location and ideal for exploring from. We had a lovely day out in the park in Fordingbridge. We would definitely come back and stay again.

Just returned from one of the hottest weekends of the year. It's a small, compact, safe campsite with no silly rules and signs everywhere - just good old fashioned common sense and courtesy to your fellow camper, usual £1 showers but as someone mentioned no hot water for washing up. It is a long way from any main roads and a short walk to Fordingbridge through some lovely countryside. Nige the owner is a really nice, down to earth and modest man who goes out of his way to chat with everyone and really is pleased that you have enjoyed your time staying there. We will definitely return, thanks Nige.

Excellent, very friendly campsite. Nige is the best. Very helpful and friendly and wants everyone to have a great stay. Very clean showers and toilets. Lovely walk down to river and to Fordingbridge. Excellent food at Rose and Thistle… make sure you book in advance! Dog friendly but must be on leads as sheep and chickens roaming free. We will definitely be going back to this lovely little site. Well done Nige! X

What a great little site - we were there with friends, chilling out. There were a few families there with kids who were entertained by the sheep and chickens that roam around freely. We still took the dog with no problems at all. Toilets and shower are basic but again great. Lovely shower, basic but great. Remember to take a £1 coin. A bit of noise from a neighbouring camp. The owner came and spoke to us and was very friendly.

The camping site was exactly what we needed. Lovely little field with animals and facilities and a chilled out vibe. The owner Nige was very welcoming and accommodating.

The campsite is in a lovely location, just outside Fordingbridge, close enough for easy access but we felt like we were in the middle of the forest. The owner, Nige, is lovely and invited everyone to join him by his outdoor fire on Saturday night. My only slight criticism is that there is only cold water to wash up in, but that is a very minor issue and did nothing to spoil our holiday.
