A lovely small campsite with rustic but perfectly clean and serviceable facilities. Ideal for families with kids who were clearly enjoying all playing together on the swings and slides. Friendly feel and not far from Fordingbridge where you can find a section of pubs and amenities. I would return and recommend.

Lovely site, we only stayed for one night as a stopover between Somerset and Sussex. Lots of space and good facilities. Hope to return for longer sometime.

Me and my family absolutely loved it, couldn't have picked a better place for it. Our first time camping, it was easy to book and easy enough to find. I would definitely recommend anyone to come visit and I will definitely be going back.

We had a really great stay at Nige's campsite and would highly recommend. The facilities are basic but you have everything you need. Nige was very friendly on arrival and was helpful when we needed some bricks for a bbq. It was nice and quiet at the campsite, with only a couple of other groups, so there was plenty of space to choose from. There are some sheep and chickens roaming the campsite but they usually stay out of your way. Thank you!
Fantastic, quiet campsite

Campsite was safe for the kids to roam but not too big so you couldn't locate them - a rope swing and a little climbing frame. Toilets and shower facilities - this is camping so don't expect 5 star, but it was clean and had hand soap. Washing up facilities and toilet rolls were replenished frequently. You are able to bring your own fire pit/BBQ, so we enjoyed cooking on site. The kids also loved the chickens that roamed the site and some sheep. Great location to get around for some sightseeing - can walk to Fordingbridge or drive to most sights around the New Forest - we visited Lymington, Bucklers Hard and the motorcycle museum. Nige, the owner, is very friendly and keeps a watch over the site to make sure there is quiet time when everyone is settling down for the evening and is on hand for any recommendations of the area Would definitely visit again.

Love this little place- not too busy- can keep eye on children easily- cockerel acts as an alarm- cute town minutes away- great access to Poole, New Forest, and Bournemouth. Nothing not to like.

Brilliant campsite. Very very reasonable compared to others. The facilities are basic hence the price but they were always clean. The couple in charge of the field were really friendly. Our little one loved the chickens/sheep and climbing frame/toys.

Stayed 2 nights, Nige is really nice and helpful. Site is basic - a field with 2 toilets and 2 showers, but both are kept very clean and the showers are hot and easy to use - only £1 for 7 minutes. Walk alongside fields to nearest town - Fordingbridge - takes 30 minutes, but there are several pubs and essential shops. Be aware that the baker's shop we went to closes at 3pm in the afternoon, which was a shame as we wanted to support a local business, but we went to the local Co-op instead (and it is massive). Chickens roam the site for part of the day, and don't bother with an alarm clock as a cockerel wakes you up at 5.20 am, but we didn't mind that. It was our first camping trip and will definitely come back. Thank you Nige.

Basic, but well maintained, with clean facilities. Good location with easy access to lovely walks in the new forest and a very short walk to the pub.

First time at Nige's camping which we stumbled on by chance. Really friendly staff, lovely to have chickens and sheep roaming. Perfect for kids as you can see from any pitch and has a little playground. Look forward to a return trip. Thanks for the stay and some fresh eggs :)

We had a brilliant time, lovely. Pleased to stay and great for kids and dogs. Nice and peaceful with plenty to do locally. Only mild downfall was having to then pay a pound for a shower and was only 1 working. Also, the toilets could do with a little spruce up. But, all clean, so I'm not complaining. All in all, was good.
Highly recommended - zero fuss

We spent a couple days at Nige's Camping, and we had a great time. The camping area was flat and well-kept, and Nige couldn't have been more helpful and welcoming. There was a swing and a play area for the kids, some sheep roaming around, along with chickens and dogs. We had dogs with us too, who we were able to roam relatively freely. There were a couple of showers which were kept clean (£1 for 5 mins) and the water was lovely and hot, plus a couple of toilet cubicles which did the job. There was water easily accessible, plus an area to wash your pots and pans. All in all, we had a great time, Fordingbridge is a lovely little town which has a large Co-Op that had everything we needed. It's a few minutes from some amazing pubs. We'll be back. Thanks, Nige!!

Just a one night stay at this great little campsite but we will be back! Welcomed in by the owner who was lovely and the site itself had a chilled out family feel. A short 10 minute walk into Fordingbridge to pubs, shops and takeaways. Nice toilets, showers and pot washing facilities on a clean and very well maintained site. Small but a good find. Would highly recommend x

The campsite is situated in a very nice area. Nige was very welcoming. It could have done with another washing up area and the shower was a bit hot/cold. But we thoroughly enjoyed are stay. Perhaps fire pit retails would be a good idea for those cold evenings.

Lovely stay this weekend, campsite was perfect for what we needed. Toilets and showers were clean and location was great for a walk to Fordingbridge. The kids made friends with the children that live at the house and all had a great time. We were a bit confused on arrival as we were not sure if we needed to check in, but another camper confirmed that we should just pitch! Nige was very friendly and told us the quickest and easiest walking route to Fordingbridge. Thanks for a lovely stay.

We took our son on his first camping trip at 11 months old! We wanted a family friendly site and we are so glad we found Nige's Camping. Nige could not be more helpful, friendly and just the best host. The campsite is smaller than ones we have been on before, but it had everything you need. Clean toilets and showers, washing up facilities, sheep, chickens and a badger (Nige's dog!) The location was perfect and I would highly recommend to anyone!
