This is a rural site with pigs, goats & horses. It is peaceful. Bring wellies if it's wet, as it can muddy. Lovely helpful staff. You can purchase tea, coffee & cake. Good, hot showers paid for with tokens.

Really lovely location, beautiful walks and views. Says they don't allow big same sex groups, however we were kept awake most of the night by a big group who were drinking and being very loud. We don't have a problem usually but we booked this because we thought it would be quieter.

A great spot overlooking the Portland Bill lighthouse. It is a working farm, with lots of animals to look at and peaceful, with a festival/wild camping vibe. Such a lovely place.

We stayed here for 3 nights at the end of August, it was quiet, and the view of the sea was great. It was lovely fresh air, the local bus was 5 minutes down the road and run every 15 minutes into Weymouth, which is very handy. The site had coin-operated hot showers and plenty of toilets, and it had a kiosk where you could buy hot or cold filled rolls and hot or cold drinks. All in all, we had a wonderful stay and we will definitely return to this site in the future.

What an absolutely wonderful place to stay. It was a pleasure to meet the family running the site. They have created a truly special place. Loved the live music over the bank holiday weekend. Cannot wait to come back 🙌🏻☺️🫶🏻

It's a very nice campsite. Very friendly, views are great. A bus 10 minutes away to Weymouth. Last bus back 11.35pm. 15 minutes walk to Portland Bill Lighthouse. I'd recommend this site. 👌 Plus, use the showers at non-peak times. It's solar power, so when lots use the showers are hit or miss. But luxury when not busy.
Just perfect

My daughter and I spent a glorious 3 night pitched in Mollie's Meadow with a campervan called Poppy! From the moment we arrived we felt welcomed and at ease. The café staff were so friendly and kind, especially when our gas ran out and the hook-up for our van failed (our fault not theirs!). The views from the site are mind-blowingly beautiful and the sunrise/sunsets were just stunning. We walked along the South West Coast path from the site down to Portland Bill and along to Church Ope Cove - a gorgeous secluded cove. The facilities are really good onsite, especially the showers and we found the compost toilets very unsmelly and in fact, really clean. We loved the café with its selection of hot and cold drinks and the barbecue on Saturday evening was proper tasty and a lot of fun. One of the best features of the site was the animals. The free roam sheep and the gorgeous pigs were our favourites.

This is a basic site for those of us who love simplicity. The toilets are long drop dunnies, but they are fine. This is just a beautiful place to be peaceful.

Needed somewhere for a couple of nights stay in Portland - great location to explore by foot from camp-site to local attractions. Facilities, although basic, were more than adequate and regularly cleaned. Friendly staff with reasonable prices. Met Dave the resident sheep - didn't say much though. :)

Great location with sea views. Easy to find and the check in team were very helpful. We will revisit in our camper.

Good campsite and amenities. The only downside I found was that I had to pay separately for showers, I didn’t mind the timing of the showers but would have been nice if at least one token was included per night and not have to be bought separately.

Don’t mind basic sites but this one was looking tired. Couldn’t get vouchers for showers as reception was closed.

Really loved my stay here and can’t wait to return. Perfect location with views of the sea and Portland Bill from the pitch, and the coast path only a 5 minute walk away. Incredible sunsets both evenings (one image from the pitch and the other from the coast path just out of the site). Loved that fire pits are allowed and the compost loos were great. Didn’t use the showers in the end so can’t comment on them. Staff were super friendly and the coffee from the welcome hut was really good (cakes looked incredible too!). We didn’t join but loved the addition of live music on Saturday night. Sounded good from the tents! Thanks for a great weekend!

As it said, nearly wild. Perfect for what I needed and a great location . Didn't get to use the showers as the tokens were available at 9 am and I left early due to bad weather and a leaky tent. Staff on the phone were helpful when I called to check-in.

Good stay at Sweet Hill, easy check in and exit. Toilets were compost style but very clean. Showers were expensive in comparison to other sites. Showers required tokens to be collected from the cafe which was a little far from the shower block. Signage advising this or a change for token machine would be great. There was a cafe on site with nice cakes and the staff were friendly.
Thank you

Friendly staff/owners, great location. Facilities are functional but clean - showers were great! Check the wind forecast or bring your windbreak, as it can be blustery.

We would definitely recommend this park as it is a few minutes walk to a gorgeous view of the sunset/cliffs. But there isn't a beach you can get down to from the campsite. The facilities were great - shower block, compost toilets and portaloos, drinks/food van, social area. However, we would say that this definitely didn't make it 'nearly wild camping' - the thing that did this is the fact that the town surrounding it is very empty! (No fault of the campsite's). So if you are looking to explore a new town or go on lots of walks, this isn't really the place for you. That being said, we made our own food, watched the sunset and just enjoyed the campsite so it was perfect for us. It was kept very clean and no one was noisy. Thank you!

Amazing location and beautiful place. The riding stables are on your doorstep and sea in minutes, with sunsets, lighthouses and climbers buzzing around the cliffs. The staff are great too!
