Great stay. Not too busy. Some naughty sheep! Great facilities...showers were a little chilly but very clean. Not too far from the beaches or the town which was nice. All-in-all, couldn't have asked for anything more. Thank you.

A nice place but facilities could be refreshed. Great location, only 10 minutes to nearest shop and pub.

A fantastic stay in a wonderful location. If you're looking for a simple camping site where the emphasis is on communing with nature, then this is the place for you. Whilst it has good toilets, showers, a small laundry and even a kettle, as well as a basic play area for kids, it's the views and close access to farm animals that make this site, coupled with its slightly off the beaten track location. We'll be returning.

Great place to camp with stunning views. We were visiting our son at Falmouth University and decided to give camping a go and were very happy in this relaxed campsite with basic facilities. Many thanks for a great stay and see you again soon.

Penwarne Farm is absolutely beautiful. Located at the top of a hill, you can see out towards the sea and neighbouring fields, which make for beautiful mornings and peaceful evenings. There are showering facilities which were of a good standard. There were also additional washing machines, fridges and a washing up area which are so helpful! There are lots of animals like sheep and horses that live in the same field, which did not disturb us but definitely added to the peaceful vibe of the weekend. In addition, the farm cat, Bayley, came and sat with us throughout the whole weekend and was adorable! Would highly recommend to anyone.

Third time visiting this site. The location is just perfect with views to the sea and beautiful sunrises if you come later in the year. Plenty of facilities on site and very friendly staff. Will be returning next year for sure!

A lovely, quiet spot with fantastic views of surrounding countryside and plenty of open space for children to play. The walk to the beach is about 1.5 miles through woodland and over the hills along footpaths and the views are glorious. Sadly, the facilities are old, and basic. The shower was only ever lukewarm and the dishwashing area only has cold water, although a kettle is provided. None of this would be a problem if it was reflected in the price. The charge per night is the same as sites with modern shower and toilet facilities. Although, Cornwall is generally very expensive, as we discovered.
Loved it!

Simple camping with good facilities in a gorgeous field. Outstanding view of the sea to watch the ships go by. Near a fabulous unspoilt Grebe beach. Easy to drive into Falmouth!

Fantastic stay at the farm. Facilities were maintained well, lovely horses too! Everyone was spread out and it was nice to not be packed in like sardines. Signposted well on the roads, great communication from hosts. Shop wasn't open during our stay but we had read ahead and knew this was seasonal so wasn't expecting it - however we did spy a ping pong table in there which would be great fun during summer. Water was hot in the toilet block. I've seen reviews saying otherwise but I would argue this is basic common sense - if you use the shower facilities when everyone else is then it's less likely to be as hot! I'd recommend anyone worried about this to just get up a bit earlier and shower whilst it's quiet. Ideal location, loved hearing the cows and even met a very friendly ginger cat who stuck by our tent for a while and enjoyed scratches behind the ears. We will be back!

Lovely quiet site. Only downside was that the showers were lukewarm. Wasn't bothered at all by owners, so left to get set up. Will be back again in the summer :)

Great site, great value for £. Extremely quiet and peaceful, everything clean and working. Minor comment - shower could do with a seat or a shelf to put toiletries and shoes on, otherwise they'll be in spray (a really really petty comment). Will 100% definitely use this campsite again, great location.

It was excellent and we had the place to ourselves! Only disturbance was unpleasant plastics burning just over the hedge, but the cows were a pleasure!

This place trades on the fabulous view. Only two toilets open, no access to the hairdryer in the ladies'. Rest of the toilets/showers were closed with a big "no entry" sign. No door to the toilet area, so anyone could look in or see people washing, which is not nice. No separate private cubicles. Showers were small, basic and nowhere to hang stuff. No hot water in the dishwashing area, so had to boil the kettle. Bins overflowing with lids off, not clear which bins to use for what. £93 for 3 nights, end of season. Never saw the owner. Would have left if we hadn't prepaid.
