Medium Tent - Non Electric Grass PitchesAug 2024

Really easy to find and travel to. Lovely friendly campsite. We camped for 2 nights. They do have electric pitches, not that we used one. Touring and static. The showers / toilet block was spotless and very new. I was really impressed. Will definitely be going again.

Medium Tent - Electric Grass PitchesAug 2024

The location of the campsite is a mixed blessing. On the one hand, it is a very lovely spot next to the canal offering a beautiful canal walk or cycle to Droitwich in one direction, or Worcester in the other. We had great a cycle picking brambles, stopping at Churchill Farm for ice cream on way and picnicking in Lido Park. On the other hand, campsite is sitting on dual carriageway and you can hear the traffic pretty clearly all day and quite late into night. Campsite facilities were excellent, with new and clean shower and toilet block that is as good or better than home! Also, good laundry and in the evening, a bar with tables on the canal side. If you're a keen fisherman then you can purchase a license at very reasonable rates and while away the day. Staff very friendly and helpful. The campsite tends to be quite busy from Friday to Sunday, with lots of families, which is great fun for kids. Slightly quieter during the week. It's therefore a little tricky to find a spot on busy Friday evenings - and so if you can arrive early, it might give you a little more choice on where to pitch. Perhaps just the week we were there but when quieter, lots of caravans with people keeping themselves to themselves, so slightly lacking in communal atmosphere. There are, however, great day trips for families from this location. Great day at Stratford upon Avon enjoying the recreation ground park with mini golf, boating and pool. As well as the mad museum and music alley - both really good fun for kids. We also enjoyed days to Gloucester - lunch by canal and visit to aviation museum. Walk along river in Worcester to visit the cathedral. Walk in Malvern Hills as well as adorable ice skating disco venue in Malvern - Ice Quest. Evening show at the Tuckwell Amphitheatre in Cheltenham with lots of good restaurants in the Montpellier area. A day trip into Cotswolds villages for gift shopping and cream teas.

Fabulous place, great location
