It was amazing! The staff were so friendly and made us feel really at home, the pod was really well equipped and cosy, and the hot tub was easy to use.

We had such a good time, we even booked an extra night! The campsite is in a beautiful quiet spot. The pod we stayed in was very clean, we had a large decking area and a woodfired hot tub. What a treat to lie in a hot tub and look up at the stars. The shower block was clean and the showers were lovely and hot. There were extra toilets and showers provided behind the block. The most amazing part was the managers of the campsite. Such a lovely family, nothing was too much trouble. They even took us to the train station when we couldn't get a taxi that wasn't extortionate. We had such a lovely chilled time. Will definitely return in the summer.
Signage goes a long way!

Arrived at this site on Friday evening after work for a weekend away. The road to the site is a dead end so you would expect clear signage to tell you where the entrance to the site is. It's not even labelled Hill Farm. We ended up driving straight past and then had to reverse a caravan in the pitch black along a narrow road. Eventually got into the site and again, no sign of where to go and no sign of life - it was 6.30pm and dark. Eventually, a young girl came out and said you want to go down there to pitch 10. We drove down in the dark and looked for numbers which, of course, there wasn't anything clearly marked. Walked round the field in the dark with a torch to see where we needed to be and eventually took pot luck at a space. We didn't see the owners again and weren't given any information about the site itself. The site was ok - nothing great but it was fine for 2 nights. I wouldn't stay again due to the location.
Site's response
Many thanks for your review, we value and appreciate your feedback. We are so sorry your stay with us did not meet your expectations. First impressions are important. We have reviewed your comments and will be installing clearer signage in the next few days. We will also ensure that future guests are suitably shown to their pitches, as on this occasion we clearly failed. This, together with improved signage, should prevent these kinds of issues. Once again, many thanks for your feedback, it helps us improve our site for future visitors.

Couldn't have picked a worse weekend with the storms but still thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Very clean facilities and the owners were brilliant, they couldn't help us enough! Will definitely stay again but more towards the summer this time, haha!

Great stay, friendly staff, nice toilets/showers. Site could do with improving the lighting around the site & pathways as they were quite muddy!
Great location for many short walks, very friendly

Very peaceful, friendly site. Ideal location for sort and long walks. Great local pubs, had Sunday lunch at the garden centre which was fabulous - would recommend.
