Haddon Grove Farm Campsite is set on a working dairy farm in the scenic Peak District National Park, just five minutes outside of Bakewell. The site is home to non electric grass and electric hardstanding pitches, with a separate family field offering play areas and rope swings. Sample local ice cream at the onsite shop, with fire pits for hire too. Chatsworth House, Matlock and Buxton are also within a 20 minute drive!

Friendly owners. Camp anywhere - lots of options. Great new toilet block. Showers disappointing. Main toilets blocked several times as water for flushing couldn't keep up with demand.

Great campsite with onsite toilets and showers. Also have a shop onsite which is useful. It is a 10 minute drive from Bakewell. Has some good walk routes nearby too.

Haddon Grove Farm Campsite was very friendly and polite on arrival. Beautiful scenery and lovely walks. Great for children. Could do with being updated with a play park.
Lovely site and we had a great time

We had a lovely weekend at Haddon Grove. Great hosts, easy check-in, and for a busy park, it felt quiet and spacious. Loved that we could choose where we pitched, and we had some amazing views over Lathkill Dale. It was also super close for walks to nearby villages for food and a pint. Walk up the dale to Monyash is particularly good, with it being not too far for little legs, and there's a park for the kids attached to a beer garden. The kids loved the rope swings in the grounds of the park and being able to rent a fire pit and grab logs on site was ideal! Only minor negative was that the toilet block seemed to run out of water as the evening drew on each day, but to be honest, not a massive deal, and they were kept clean throughout our stay. A lovely friendly site that we will happily visit again.
Nice, large site if you like it a little busier

Great, no nonsense, quite busy site (it was a pleasant weekend in June so not a surprise). Easy check in by lovely host who advised the correct field to pitch in if we wanted a slightly quieter stay. Toilets in the field were immaculate, and although there didn't seem to be enough toilets to serve the 4 fields of campers, I never had to queue. Relaxing short stay, we will be back.
A lovely family-run campsite

Enjoyed a lovely 2-night stay at this campsite. The owners were incredibly friendly and welcoming. There were around 3/4 large fields and you could go wherever you wanted. One of them had a lovely view, though the ground was a little sloped there so we chose the field next to it. Water taps in various locations for easy access. There is a little shop where you can buy necessities and you can hire a fire pit which was awesome! You can also buy firewood and fire starters. Loads of people had fires which was lovely and cosy. Bakewell is only a 10 min drive away which was really useful and a nice place to visit for the day. Good value for money in my opinion. My only criticism would be that perhaps the toilet and washing up facilities were not quite enough for how many people there were. The main house has more toilets and showers but out in the fields, the toilet block only has 4 cubicles for the ladies and 2 sinks (not sure about men) so often there was a little queue outside at peak times (morning and night). However, those toilets were generally very well looked after. Sometimes there were blockages that made the toilets unusable but within the day these were dealt with. The washing up room that I came across only had two sinks so sometimes there would be a queue there also, and the water wasn't very hot. However, to finish on a positive note - there was a large fridge (and I think freezer) where you could leave some food which was really useful. All in all it was a lovely place to stay. Even the criticisms I have given were only minor inconveniences that did not have a negative impact on our stay! Would definitely recommend this place to others and would consider camping here again.
Great site in a great location

A no nonsense site above Lathkill Dale. Four large fields, several water points, toilets in field and by reception. Walks directly from the site, I stayed on a Tuesday night in June so it was fairly quiet.

Excellent site, very relaxed and great location. Small shop to buy essentials, even came out after hours when we needed extra logs, fantastic service. Will definitely be going back.

First time here and only stayed one night, but an enjoyable visit. Everything we were looking for for a one night break. Friendly staff, clean amenities, and the pop up pizza guy worked perfectly for us. Would definitely revisit.
Very good

Was accepted in after booking on that day. The staff were friendly, the site was clean and so were the toilets. Pretty close to Lathkill Dale and Bakewell and for the price, only cost me a tenner for the night.

The site was really clean, with a new toilet block which was immaculate every time I went in there! Little shop on site, the owners are lovely, helpful and cheerful :-) Stunning views, right next to the cows, you can walk through the field and feed them some grass, lovely walk to a waterfall not for from site! Lovely walks with the dog, just a lovely place to stay!
