Haddon Grove Farm Campsite is set on a working dairy farm in the scenic Peak District National Park, just five minutes outside of Bakewell. The site is home to non electric grass and electric hardstanding pitches, with a separate family field offering play areas and rope swings. Basic, but just what was needed for our stay. The toilets were very clean and tidy, especially for a wet weekend. When we arrived, we were able to add on extras, we didn't pre book incase of weather , we got an extra deal with paying in cash. We were able to choose our own plot within the 4 fields on offer. I highly recommend and will return.
Absolutely perfect

This campsite is fantastic, the facilities are great and there was a breakfast van in the morning as well as a little pizza "tent" in the afternoon, which tempted us out of cooking! The views and location are amazing, close to some amazing hikes. Close to Bakewell itself, so going for a pub lunch was an easy drive.
Very good campsite

Stayed there with several of my friends, rented a fire pit and had felt incredibly welcome and would stay there again. Very kind staff and incredible views.

It's been a few years since I have been camping and if this site is anything to go by, standards have skyrocketed. The facilities were immaculate, the food and drinks sold on site were great. The views were stunning and the staff were super friendly and helpful. It was my son's first camping trip and he had the time of his life. My dad, who camps a lot and joined us said it was one of the best sites he'd been to also. Highly recommended.

First time staying here and it was really good! We enjoyed 2 nights there, friendly people! Plenty of field space for everyone. There was a pizza stall there the 2 nights we stayed and a burger van. Would highly recommend. We will be going back.

Lovely, family friendly site in a good location for exploring Bakewell and surrounding areas. Easy to get to and relatively easy to find. On our stay at end of summer holidays, the site was slightly too busy for the amount of facilities available. With only 3 male and 3 female showers, and 5 very busy fields, there was long waits at certain times. The showers and toilets were clean enough for a relatively affordable campsite. Also, only 2 toilet blocks across the site meant that it was a long walk to go to the toilet. This could be improved with a small block and drinking water faucet in each field. As a family friendly site, we would have appreciated stricter enforcement of quiet time from 11. There was a few groups that were up late into the morning that were a little disruptive. This includes considering closing the gate after quiet time as cars were still coming in past midnight, some looking for a pitch, which isn't very fair. Onsite food availability (the pizza stall) was welcome and very nice and fairly priced. Overall, a good stay, but possibly a little over booked. Staff were very friendly, and the onsite shop carried the essentials which is always welcome.

Tad pricey for 2 tents with the nearest pub over an hour's walk away. Also hired fire pit and purchased a bag of logs. The logs were very wet and the first night, it took over a hour to light as the wood was damp and just smoking, not burning. Toilets were very clean and always had toilet roll and were well lit.

Great location, lovely, friendly and laid back. We probably chose the wrong weekend to visit, very busy and we felt the facilities were more for 2 rather than 5 fields so limited hot water for washing up and the odd queue for the loo. Was nice and quiet by 11pm.

Lovely place. Great location, very nearby to Bakewell which was fantastic for us to visit. Some lovely walks around the area. Facilities were nice and the shop was lovely. The owners were super friendly and helpful. Only issue was when another person staying stole our firepit, which was a shame. Ideal spot for a group of friends.
Perfect stay for family with little kids!

We loved everything about this campsite! Perfect location for walks. Only short walk to the toilets from all pitches which is much appreciated with the little ones. Sites are large so we had a lot of privacy, many families were visiting so no issues with noise. The host was so so lovely and welcoming! Can't wait to visit again :)

Fantastic value for money. Very busy but we didn't find it noisy after dark. Could do with more toilets/showers for such a large site. Fabulous walks, nice country pub serving decent food. If you arrive late, you may find it difficult to get a pitch.

We had a very friendly reception when we arrived and were able to camp wherever we wanted. The site had several fields and we chose a pitch with views over the pastures and hills beyond. We were close to a clean, modern toilet block and the showers were a five minute walk away. The campsite was busy with families having fun, which was delightful. There is a pizza delivery service to the site and in the morning there was a caravan selling cooked breakfast. We would definitely visit again.

Wonderful campsite, beautiful surroundings, good facilities and something for everyone. Had more family based pitches with open fields to play football, or quieter pitches towards the bottom surround by sweeping hills and perfect location for a campfire.
Lovely spot, very friendly owners

A very pretty spot, couldn't have asked for friendlier owners. There were a few large groups near us, so not the quietest stay.

The location is great for where we wanted to go. However, the site itself was so overcrowded, there was hardly anywhere to pitch both nights. Literally sitting on top of other campers, so it was far from peaceful, which is how I feel camping should be. We ended up right by the cow barn which was awful as could hear them all night, along with the smell. The shop was dreadful, really run down, and would hardly call it a shop really. There was hardly any stock. The pizzeria was also dreadful, it came over an hour late and was literally burnt to a crisp. I thought it was inedible to be honest. The area around the site was the most shocking thing. There was rubbish everywhere, cats roaming everywhere. It looked dirty and run down and parts of it should definitely be hidden. General tidy up should be in order. Shower rooms where ok, cleaner then the actual site. All in all, we wouldn't return here, not peaceful. Not clean and not somewhere we would stay again.
Beautiful spot

Lovely site, quite busy but noise died down by 11pm. Toilets and showers were great and could do with a few more hooks/shelves to place clothes and items out of the wet. It was a bonus to have the little caravan serving hot food, drinks on Friday evening, Saturday morning and Sunday evening - perfect!

There was a shortage of showers and the ones that I used did not drain very well. But that aside, the campsite was great. A nice, quiet back to basics in a great setting and all the tent pitches were on level ground too. What I really enjoyed was the location, the warm welcome and the ease of getting to other parts of the Peak District from there. It is also one of the few campsites that allows bookings for just the one night over the weekend. Hopefully be back again soon.

I took my 11 year old grandson camping for the first time, he absolutely loved it. He was always off on his bike and I didn't see him for hours. The site was well laid out with good facilities which were extremely clean and well maintained, fabulous views over Lathkill Dale. Loved the fire pit, sat for hours with a glass of beer in the evening, so peaceful. I would recommend the site to everyone. My grandson is already asking when we can come back. See you soon.

Spent a weekend here, just 2 nights with a group of friends. Had a small shop for drinks/snacks/logs. Toilets/showers were good and not too crowded. Owners were really friendly and even provided recommended spots to visit. Firepit hire was worth it. Make sure to bring firelighters/kindling as they only sold logs.
