Pinecones Caravan and Camping is a family orientated, picturesque getaway in Dersingham, Norfolk - named the ninth nicest village in the UK by The Sunday Times. And it's just a hop from the sea! No wonder the royals live nearby at Sandringham. Happy campers love indulging in the modern and family-friendly facilities including the private bathrooms which are warm and clean, perfect for having your own space. There is even a bar and cinema onsite!

Our experience of staying one night with a small motor home in the depth of winter. Efficient booking and organization. Friendly service. Nice big fully-serviced pitch with lovely covered benches on some pitches for eating outside (in the summer!). Obviously a lot of investment going on. Easy to find the site. However, nowhere is perfect. For us, the road noise from the Bypass was disturbing in the night. The integrated toilet/shower rooms are heated and you open the door to be greeted by piped music. Which is really nice. I just wonder if there will be enough of these in the high season and, also, whether they will get messy with mud etc being walked in and the water sprayed from the shower. Also, the hand-dryers didn't work. The roadway round the site is perhaps a bit messy. It could really do with being tarmac, These things having been said, overall it seems a good site and value for money, and we certainly plan to visit again.

Thank you for your review, we are glad that you had a good stay with us. There is a lot of work happening on site at the moment, pitches are being increased in size with privacy fences behind. There are picnic benches on some pitches, huts on others for the use of our campers which will have little glow heaters in. Our facilities seem to cope very well during the busy times, we have 15 separate facilities on site, but are also finding that many people are using their onboard facilities at this time.
