An ideal waterside setting by the River Ouse, The Riverfront York is a family and dog friendly touring park, just ten minutes from York. Campervans, caravans, and motorhomes are all welcome on the electric hardstanding pitches, with a range of glamping too. Onsite you can even hire boats, with a play park and beauty treatments available too. For grabbing a tasty bite to eat, there is also a restaurant, cafe and seasonal pizza oven!

Pitches good size and well maintained. Good reception and staff helpful, facilities very clean and tidy. Bus service to York and local pubs and shops. Busy site when we were there, our pitch not ideal as there were passing guests and site traffic. Staff tried to help but no other pitches available. Lights bright from the on site restaurant. However, a pleasant clean stay and good value for money. We would recommend.

Booked for 2 nights but only able to stay one unfortunately. The site is quite easy to find. Great location, short distance to centre of York. Beautifully kept and toilets spotless. Right next to the river, there is a little cafe with tables and benches. Pitches are pretty well spaced out, gravel and grass. Spoke to the owner seems really nice guy. Ball games are not allowed on site as there is a large playing field close by. Sadly, the restaurant is only open Thursday to Sunday, which was a shame so cannot comment on that, but it looked smart and tidy. I will definitely return and would recommend to any one. Some my find it a little expensive but in my view, worth it.

This site has lots and lots of pluses. The position is great, the food shed was good and the site grounds were immaculate, but we found the loos and washing up area, although not old, needed a bit of TLC and a deep clean really. Not helped by inadequate ventilation during a hot spell. know big plans are afoot and a lot of money has already been spent on the site, but a proper look at the loos and washing up area are needed, not just going through the motions. Sorry, should be 10/10.

Excellent site - a little gem (although I am reluctant to share such a good site!) Situated on the river with excellent facilities. Onsite restaurant popular and open Thursday-Sunday. Within walking distance to village and to York itself. Owners friendly and very welcoming. One of the best sites we have been on 👌

Lovely dog friendly site near canal. Lovely restaurant on site and some nice walks. Will definitely be back.

This was our first visit to the boatyard but we will definitely be returning. The site is lovely, clean and close to York and other places such as Scarborough.

A small site, in a lovely location by the river. Accessible to York by bus, walking or bike. 3 decent pubs a short walk away. Minor negatives were a lack of sufficient waste bins (all overflowing early Sunday morning). No loo rolls in either gents W.C on Sunday morning. Yes, the site was full, but staff knew that. Although there was a phone contact with a real person answering, a bit of general information about the site and facilities would have been helpful. Would visit again.

The site was very clean in all respects. The washroom were spotless with lovely hot water in the showers! All the pitches were hardstanding and were extremely level, which was an added bonus! We didn't try the Bosuns restaurant, but I'm led to believe that the standard is very good! Lovely walks into York, took around 1.5 hours by the side of the Ouse, with a bus ride back - was brilliant!! Electric hook up with water tap on the pitch was great! We will definitely be back! Thank you.
