Lovely site, quiet and peaceful. Limited facilities and the chemical disposal could use an upgrade. There was also no free Wi-Fi.

Many thanks for taking the time to leave the a review of the park. It's great to hear that you found us exactly as advertised - quiet and peaceful with the facilities you would expect from a small park. We hope to see you again.

Very pleased with the site, with new showers and toilets nearby to our pitch. The owners were very helpful when we had an issue with our van.

We came to stay with our 3 year old granddaughter. She loved the site. The playground and room to play was perfect for her.

Very clean, lovely staff and very helpful. We ran out of milk for our wee one and they opened shop out of hours to let us buy some. Toilets and showers were spotless lovely and warm. The only reason I gave a 4 for locations was it's about 20 min drive to the nearest town. Took us 1hr to drive to York and Scarborough. So couldn't walk anywhere for a nice pub lunch and wee glass of wine, but that's only a personal thing

Many thanks for taking the time to review the park. It's lovely to hear that you enjoyed your stay with us. We look forward to seeing you and your little one again in the future. For accuracy, we are a 5 minute walk away from the local village pub The Grapes Inn serving meals with plenty of wine (and other drinks) and Slingsby Social Club where our guests are more than welcome to enjoy drinks as well as the other activities they hold throughout the year. Malton is 6 miles away, Helmsley is 8 miles away, York is 18 miles away and Scarborough is 30 miles away.

Very friendly staff. Clean toilets and showers. My only criticism would be that there was a toilet block on 2 of the areas but not on pitches 1-7, so meant a short walk to the little ones or the larger toilet block. With children, it wasn't quick to get them to the toilet. The park was nice for the children but it was the other end of the park, which would of been better down with the tourers. Overall, a lovely quiet site with full gravel pitches. The children enjoyed exploring around the trees and were able to ride around on their bikes without worry of cars. Phone signal wasn't very good, however, I enjoyed not being on my phone! There's not much about but luckily we packed enough essentials for our stay as the little shop on site doesn't stock milk etc.

I felt that more facilities by pitches 1 and 7 were needed.

Just returned from 2 nights at Robin Hood Caravan Park in our touring caravans. My hubby and I had never been before but were pleased when we arrived. The site was immaculate and facilities superb. We have now just booked to return for 7 nights in 10 days' time. Peaceful and lovely walks for our pup. *****

A lovely clean site and a great place to stay with lots of places to visit round and about and not far from the coast. All pitches are level and fully serviced and the surrounding trees make it nice and sheltered. There is a nice, safe play area too for the kids. Friendly, helpful staff on this family run site who are always there to help. They went the extra mile for us when we had a car in limp mode and couldn't tow our caravan back home. For a small fee they allowed us to store the caravan on site until our car was fixed then go back to collect our van. This is a site to add to our tick list to stay here again. Definitely recommended.

Lovely large pitch and very peaceful. Central to York, Whitby and Scarborough. Helpful staff on arrival after problems with our jockey wheel. Shower room a bit tired, but spotlessly clean .Close to local pub however restricted opening times. We enjoyed our stay and found our way around quite easily. Maybe could do with more info about local area i.e shops, what's on etc.

Absolutely lovely site situated within driving distance from many fantastic locations from the beach to the national park. Really friendly staff. Pitch flat and spacious clearly marked with plenty of room for the car and 2 dogs. Facilities very clean, could do with more showers but this had no impact on our stay at all. Would highly recommend this site.

Just returned home from a great stay here. Great rural location and the site had good space and facilities. One improvement would be better waste segregation facilities, but apart from that minor thing, the place is spot on. Would definitely recommend this site.

This was our first family camping trip. We had a fantastic time and our 2 children thoroughly enjoyed their time on the site, being able to play on their bikes and in the park. The site was local to many family attractions and restaurants/pubs, which was brilliant for us as we wanted to explore the area. This is a campsite we will defiantly be returning to in the future.

Great family campsite. Our kids loved playing in the park and having so many other children to play with. Facilities were clean and cleaned often. Would highly recommend.

Stayed here for 3 nights with young children 3 and 9, on our trip to Flamingo Land which was only 20mins away. Very clean and tidy site, with spacious pitches, clean toilets and showers. Children loved the play park and had hours of fun. One comment I would say is come prepared as local supermarket is around 15 mins drive. However the site does have a shop that opens for a few hours in the morning and afternoon shop for basics such as milk and bread. Overall highly recommend if your looking for a quiet remote campsite.

We loved this campsite. Small and quiet and just what we were looking for. Was a good base for days out and the toilets and showers were clean and tidy. Would have been good if the main shower block had some sockets to plug in hair appliances but wouldn’t stop us staying again.

I would recommend the park for peace and quiet, but there was nothing to and no amenities. The shop was badly stocked but you could go to the nearest town, Malton, for the supermarket if needed. Other than that, it was great for a base to visit York, Scarborough and other towns local
