Widdicombe Farm Touring Park is the only touring park within the boundary of Torquay, offering a great base just for grown ups. Park up and tour the stunning Devon coast, with Paignton, Torquay, Brixham and Newton Abbot a short drive away, or take the onsite mini bus for daily trips out. Gordon's bar offers great entertainment most nights during main season while Poppies licensed restaurant and takeaway is open most nights.

About the site

This family owned adults only park offers the perfect mix of a friendly welcome and supervision by day and peaceful nights, alongside space for you to relax and enjoy your holiday. You'll be surrounded by 8 acres of gorgeous farmland and just a drive away from the best resorts in the south coast. Access to the park is excellent, with none of the usual winding Devon lanes to negotiate in a big vehicle. Pitches range from a simple break on a standard pitch with electric hook-up, to semi serviced, fully serviced and premium options with top views and a great location. There is also three static four berth caravans for hire, which include comfortable full size double divan beds for a great night's sleep. In the caravan there is everything you need to make your stay enjoyable and each van has their own private decking where you can take in the Devon sunshine and relax with a tipple. Dogs are welcome, with designated dog friendly seating inside the restaurant. Raised BBQs are allowed.

Site facilities include three refurbished amenity blocks, which offer spacious and private washrooms, showers and plenty of free hot water. There is also a sheltered dish washing area, coin operated laundry, dog exercise area and a small site shop selling groceries and essential items.

The site features a licensed restaurant and takeaway, Poppies, open Easter until September. There's also seasonal entertainment available and a range of drinks on offer at Gordon's bar.

A bus service runs very close to site and there is a farm shop close by, as well as a supermarket less than a ten minute drive away.

Things to do on site and in the Paignton area

With a bar and tasty food served on site, you'll find plenty of reason to relax without leaving your base, watch great entertainment and take it easy.

Once you're ready to head out and about, plenty of Devon's famous spots are in reach. It's less than a half hour to Exeter, where you'll wander a stunning cathedral, get lost in history and enjoy an urban day out.

For beach lovers, it's only around 15 minutes in the car to Torquay and even less to Paignton, where you'll find golden sands and easy access to the South West Coast Path.

Mystery fans won't want to miss the Agatha Christie Mile walking tour, as well as Kents Cavern and Greenway House at Brixham.
