About Wildlands

Only 15 minutes from the popular town of Framlingham and 35 minutes from the stunning coastal town of Aldeburgh, this beautiful location is a gem for visitors. It offers over 122 acres of rolling countryside where you can enjoy long, tranquil woodland walks, or simply walk the short distance to the highly rated local pub for a drink and something to eat. Situated in a stunning wildflower meadow, and surrounded by 122 acres of the site's rewilding and regenerative farming project, this is real wildlife camping. Camping and campervan pitches are set on grass with electric and non-electric options, offering access to all facilities including a children's playground. The site is passionate about the environment and campers experience, guests can explore the wild meadows, woodlands, streams and ponds. Embrace your playful side at the sustainable adventure playground whatever your age, and as darkness falls gather around the fire for story-telling and stargazing. Wind down and rediscover a slower pace of life with onsite healing treatments and therapies to restore body and spirit. Embrace the joy of creativity and learn new skills with guided photography walks capturing the magic through a different lens. All logs for firepits and log burners must be purchased on site. Fire pits will need to be raised off the ground by at least 30cm or put on a concrete slab to protect the grass and reduce the chance of fires especially during dry season.

A note from the site themselves...

Wildlands is our family-run, eco-accommodation and Wildlife Haven in the heart of Suffolk. An ecological philosophy guides our family-run enterprise. Here we invest income from visiting guests into the care of diverse habitats, including special areas for endangered species.

Just as the Kingfisher thrives in quieter waterways, so we invite you to be restored by the rare tranquillity of our river-edged land.

Matthew, Claire, Ralph and George (the dog)
